What bungie needs to do is permanently ban these carry for money players. They are ruining trials. Every card I play we run into one or more of these. You have 1 or even 2 of the top players in the world carrying someone to flawless. They play all weekend long one match right after another making money left and right, its ridiculous. Trials is a blast because it's so competitive but whats fun about being 7-0 or 8-0 and being steamroller by 2 top 1% players and some player who can't even get a kill.
If bungie would just start banning all these carry of $ players, half of which just stream it on Twitch, it would go a long way toward fixing trials.
Edit; apparently I need to edit my post people people are taking it in the wrong direction. It's not about proving that the team that I played happened to be one, you can't prove it.
Its not about weather I win or losse because I will play either way, i just enjoy playing and anyone that knows me knows that i spend 75% of my time just playing with random people and friends to just play not try for flawless. But yes it does and would sting alot more to loose your final game to a pay for carry group then one who earned it.
MY OPINION IS; pay for carries is wrong and there should be no place for it in destiny.
Pay for carries is everywhere right now. You can't go onto the destiny app under trials fireteam finder and not see someone posting for it. It's on there about 1 out of every 3 or 4 posts.
And no I don't want bungie to go and ban everyone that has done it in the past but they could and in my opinion should announce that it is against destiny's policy and if anyone is caught doing it in the future they will get banned.
AGAIN THAT'S MY OPINION AND IF YOU AGREE OR DON'T AGREE THAT'S FINE YOUR WELCOME TO POST YOUR FEELINGS ABOUT IT. ALL OPINIONS ARE WELCOME

Go here. We Must move right now to put these Scourges shown before Light.
-
based on title, you must be fine if the payments are in €, £, or ¥
-
19 RepliesIf you took away people doing carrys youd just lose even more to those same people except itd be 3 good players instead of only 2
-
You can't stop money, man
-
Not sure which console you play on but I know for Xbox Live paying for in game services is against the Xbox Live code of conduct so just report them through Xbox. I am not sure if Playstation has this rule or not.

Edited by Carterboys1202: 11/18/2016 9:56:34 PMTrials is here :-) and guess what.....
Bungie still hasn't taken care of this, so...... another weekend of people paying others to carry them to the lighthouse and the forums being full of ... guaranteed $ carries
-
6 RepliesIdiocy. Plain and simple. They aren't breaking any ToS. Sounds like you just are having trouble getting to the lighthouse. Based on your 34% trials match win ratio and 0.92 K/D I'd say the problem getting to the lighthouse with any consistency is you
-
4 RepliesI don't understand the problem with it. To start, I am not good enough to carry ANYONE and I would never pay to go to the lighthouse. However, if someone wants to pay for that and someone wants to make money then why should they be reported and possibly banned. They are just making money from playing a video game. Do streamers not do the same thing?

11 RepliesEdited by Zero the Remnant: 11/16/2016 9:23:13 PMI have no issue with pay for carry players. I do dislike pay for carry players who brag however. I have finally been to the Lighthouse myself I didn't pay a cent, but it was a carry. Yes, I practiced for an entire week so I could help as best I can. (It wasn't enough though. The Mid-Range Shotguns folks have are too much for me.) My friend wanted to gelp me get the Grimiore and he carried me through. However I have not bragged about going Flawless. I don't even normally say or mention that I went flawless. I don't equip the emblem, Ghost (I want to use it as infusion fuel so I never equip it but it looks so cool and sadly has a roll I need...), or weapons so folks won't even try asking me. I don't even plan to play ToO again. Edit: I will say this... Trials probably would see less pay for carries if they added filters/seperate playlists. Folks get extremely triggered over it...but if a player goes Flawless, then he/she decides to do another card. They should only face others who have gone flawless for that weekend. (It should reset every weekend.) The true PVP players who play for fun & enjoy the challenge don't care if this change were to be added. (Look at the "First Light" debate that took place last weekend.) It is often the vocal minority(could be Majority however...) of folks who want easy wins/farm wins who hate this suggestion. (For the most part.) That said... Then more folks could go flawless. Less folks would pay. Or they could just remove the flawless requirement. But what the new req would be? I dunno? Some bounty? Complete 5 cards with atleast 5 wins? or 3 cards with 7 wins each? I dunno. But folks would be mad either way. Carries happen. Folks get Raid carries too. Nightfall Carries, Strike, & Iron Banner carries. Should they be banned as well? There won't be many players left if so.

At this point it's bungie who is ruining trials. They keep trying new shit to improve it, but all it does is -blam!- up the game type. Spooky trials was extremely dumb, especially because of the maps chosen for it. The radar is necessary for any kind of competitive formate in destiny because the game sound does not provide audible clues like other games such as csgo. Then bungie sees that people complained that it was to close quarters and way to easy for shotguns. So what do they do. They give us a large ass map for a 3v3 game type. For crying out loud this map was taken out of the normal 6v6 game modes because I was too large, why would it ever be a good idea to use it for trials. Bungie is indirectly causing more people to turn to paying for flawless because of how they are handling this game type.

Bungie should delete their crucible and get their pvp shit together and put that into destiny w

3 RepliesEdited by Carterboys1202: 11/17/2016 3:43:31 PMIt's just as bad as people on ESO ( Elder Scrolls Online) selling there ingame gold for real money. If bungie doesn't get there head out of there butts and do it, then Microsoft should step in and ban there accounts!!!
-
1 ReplyThen streamers shouldnt be able to make money then. I dont care, i just blow money on cigars and liquor.
-
Honestly how would bungie keep up with that? They struggle to maintain the current game policing lfg would be uber difficult
-
4 RepliesThis is Microsoft's/Sony's problem, if they made account recoveries more difficult to obtain and penalized multiple logins...they could easily solve this issue. The problem is the top players are doing reco's on cheese accounts so you think you're playing a 1200 elo player, but it's actually a 2000+ elo player that you're getting matched up against. They're not actually doing carries because they usually run a stacked reco team. It's easy to tell as they have horrible stats but high kd's for their trials card.
-
Well paying for anything in this game that bungie isn't selling is against the tos, so yeah they should. Honestly though, I don't see the problem with people being serpa'd, as long as the person isn't charging for it I think it's fine, it's getting a lot more people who don't have a team to play with to the lighthouse. True, it's also getting bad players to the lighthouse, but I think it's okay to provide everyone with a chance.
-
If a player can make something out of what they are skilled at, then so be it.
-
Dont ban sexual favors!!!
-
Just let them waste there money lol, I see what your saying but in the end it is their money and it is up to them how they spend it And also who cares whether some nobody on this world earned it or not, just worry about yourself cuz in the end of the day you earned the 9 wins and u have those bragging rights not them, just be humble, no need to convince everyone that u are more superior than others
-
4 RepliesYou know most of those carries are free from entering raffles. Not many streamers require you to pay for a carry.
-
Not saying that I agree, but a way to implement this would be to do something like what Overwatch does, and make it so that you can't be doing trials with someone unless you're within a certain amount of skill points of your fireteam.
-
I say that people who advertise their stream on the forums should be banned off the forums. 80% of the posts in the trials section are streamers. I wish I could get ad-block for this forum

Trials Fun
Pick one
-
couple of my friends are starting an account recovery service for 5-10 euro for a flawless and are looking for info on if they should or not. they don't know if it's actually allowed or if they'll get tons of hate or what.
-
I'd like to play Trials. I don't care if I go flawless or not. I want to win and get loot. But I don't have anyone to play with.
-
4 RepliesI've seen talks about a Flawless player bracket. Once a character or account goes flawless once, they are then only matched with people who have gone flawless. However, regardless of how well of an idea it is...
Git gud and get over it
