A month ago I would have said Warlock. But recently I've been on my Hunter alot and did IB with it, had so much fun. It's also useful in Strikes for Orbs. The only thing that worries me is dying in Raids with no self-res, I guess I just need to play smarter in Raids :)

16 RepliesI know hunters are winning the poll, but hunters are far from the greatest class. We had things like evade and a detailed radar, but titans have evade now and there's an artifact that grants the detailed radar. Titans are favored by bungie. I've always said it and I still believe it to be true. Let's slam our fists on the ground and kill anyone nearby. Let's have a melee that doesn't take a melee charge, but is a ohk. How about we give shoulder charge to two subclasses instead of one? Hunters are twigs compared to titans. Titans even have a loop that allows them to move faster than hunters. So how are hunters the best? They aren't lmao. Nightstalker is the only subclass that comes close. Warlocks have shields and energy drain and titans have great exotic gear. All rockets gain tracking. FML, but at least hunters get a tighter turn radius and the ability to move faster while aiming. Warlocks have an exotic that reloads your weapons for you. But a shadestep helmet is definitely equal to that despite dying in the middle of it. Lol I don't care though. I've been a hunter since day one and I doubt that will change. I play on my titan and warlock and am flabbergasted at how easy it is to use them. Yeah, kids play as Nightstalker hunters, but they're so common a subclass that everyone, including other hunters knows how to counter them. Titans are the master class and probably always will be.

3 RepliesFor the average player I'd say that Warlock is, hands down, by far the best option. It's good in PvP and allows mistakes in PvE. For "better than average players" I'd recommend Hunter. For players with a good understanding of how and when to use abilties, titan.

Love that the poll is so close. A hunters jump is better especially with Bones of Eao and cloaks are better than marks or bonds.

So I've played a large amount of time on each character (not sure exact numbers, but several days for each). With that comes a respect for each class and subclass. Everything has its specific uses and I don't have a straight up favorite class. On day one I started a warlock and mained him through year one. Year 2 I mained a Titan. And in year three, im currently maining my hunter. All three are extremely fun to play as and are essentially equal in my opinion. But for most fun class to play as, it'd have to be Titan just because Titan skate is too fun

After playing a warlock for a long time and then switching to a striker to get all my year 3 flawless. Can say striker is much better than warlock imo because it's an all round class. The thing with the warlock classes is they all do one thing in specific. Storm caller - melee, voidwalker - grenade and sun singer - self res.

The classes are just a means for people's play styles. Each one is unique in how they handle. The subclasses are the fine tuning of those play styles. Everyone has a favorite. I, personally, prefer nightstalker. It fits my play style as an ambusher/flanker. I could go on about how awesome it is but it doesn't matter because it's my preference. Everyone can do the same for theirs. Just like everyone can point their finger at a subclass and call it op. It doesn't matter! What matters is how YOU handle the situations you encounter while playing. Stop trying to play like someone else and be your own pro! --MIC DROP--
