DESTINY 2 PVP NERFS BETTER NOT AFFECT PVE.

Bungie really need to get their code together for destiny 2, it's totally unacceptable that a Nerf introduced because of pvp should take effect and ruin that weapon for pve, Im not going to name any of these weapons it's affected, as the list is to long, and many weapons are now just dust gathering in the vault unused due to this stupid coding. And for Christ sake stop with the exclusive content on separate consoles, it just breeds contempt.

    • The only way that happens is if Bungie creates vanilla loadouts. That is the only way balance will be achieved without crushing PvE with nerfs.

          • I really hope so I'd also want them to add this. -clan specific social area (ketch, tombship ect..) -Dedicated servers -Operations (6 mans team hard mission play list) -more raids -much better storyline -in game lore -semi open world for each plant -dungeon accessible through patrol -public events to have more unique drops -seasons events like many MMO's -mini games in social areas -interactions with NPC's -more vehicles and space ship battle -lots and lots of secrets Just my 2cents

            • In an ideal world there would be no need for nerfs, but this is Bungie, and anything goes.

              • Disagree. I rather have destiny fluent. I don't want to have to look through two separate gun stat's. It is fine. The only reason you see the same 2 gun's in pve is because they are the only effective one's. And the same for pvp. If bungie could find the right balance for gun's in pvp and pve there would be no issue.

                • They don't have to change both. They've already shown they can separate the two. They just choose not to most of the time because of their philosophy towards multiplayer being a test range for guardians, so the weapons have to stay the same. It's a stupid lore-based decision that completely screws non-PvP players and doesn't make any sense in the real world where PvP is always it's own environment and shouldn't have anything to do with PvE.

Why not now? They have the ability to do so but they refuse because they want lvl and love to be similar in terms of your guardian

                • I hope the game comes balanced so they won't have to nerf/buff anything. Just add new weapons as the game ages.

                  • I don't think any primary can be ruined for pve. PVE is crazy easy. You can run a whole strike solo with a sidearm. Stop complaining

                  • This is just one of many reasons why I put the game down. I'm tired of the rotating meta and the PVE nerfs for the sake of PVP. If PVE and PVP aren't separated in Destiny 2, I won't even give the game a 2nd look.

                    • Hope to God they better do, those idiots probably don't know how to code out separate nerf stats only for crucible and not PVE

                    • Destiny 2 needs to implement a system where stats of a weapon are separate from PvE and PvP. If a gun has too much stability or which ever stat in the crucible and it is nerfed, this should not affect PvE. Yes the two guns will feel considerably different and this will cause concern for a lot of players.

You know if Bungie actually expanded this game leaving it having a sense of exploration the nerfing wouldn't be that much of an issue for PvE. The content in this is way over done on being repetitive and PvE gamers are bored with the rinse and repeat "expansions" everytime Bungie adds any new content you hope things will change but they never will. You are stuck doing the exact samethings from the day this game was released. The only difference between now and back then. You felt more powerful back then and Bungie's literally took that away the day they nerfed the entire y1 and made it obsolete. Bungie literally killed the concept of this game and now they have made tess more important with timed events to replace content that could of expanded PvE. The nerfing in this game is 1 of the many ways Bungie has looked for to stretch out what little content they have offered. Sad thing about all of this. It's only the beginning.

                    • Most nerfs should, actually. Buffs too. I do agree strongly with bungie on this. I want my gear to feel consistent no matter which activity I'm playing, because if they separate pvp and pve, then it'll be competitive and non competitive, then raids and strikes, and it'll be far too inconsistent. However, some should not. The ammo nerf should not have affected pve, for example.

                    • You know in Titan Fall 2 there are 11 special abilities (12 if you count the random one) 6 nades and 9 class ability not to mention Titans and Pilot skills and passive abilities. And the game is so much fun and balanced. The TTK is in between CoD and Y1 Destiny using any weapon. And most importantly the connection is great if I shoot someone he/she takes dmg and vise versa unlike destiny were I'm under RNG if shoot someone. Destiny is great game and I completely agree with ya I hope they focus there energy to make D2 the game we always wanted PVP and PvE wise.

                    • My gut says they will be. With the move to MLG, they are going to have to make sweeping changes. PvP acting more like an actual competitive game being chief among them. I don't they can be taken seriously on MLG with rotating metas, OP weapons, and out of balance classes and subclasses

                    • If Bungie makes Destiny 2 as simple as the way Destiny is now. I'm not going near it. Not that I "suck" at the game. If you honestly think I do I'd be down to smack the shit out of anyone in this game but besides that they need to stop making simple games like the way it is now. I could run around with a secondary the whole game and have a 2+ KD Ratio. Does that even sound fun? Obviously it doesn't if you think thats fun then keep being the biggest Destiny fan boy out there. Halo is a simple game as well don't get me wrong but its not like Primary weapons aren't shit there. I'd be glad to see the hate from the huge fans of this game due to this comment lol.

Seems they are rushing destiny 2. Delaynit for another year to get it perfect. Releasing a game and trying to perfect it with patches and DLC's is terrible

                      • That will probably be up to Jon W. Hopefully he has taken notes on this and reconsiders how separating weapon balance can be implement in PvE and PvP. Jon W. claims players want to the same experience on both sides, but I see no evidence of this.
