Does the Skyrim heavy armor perk Conditioning only apply to the armor you're wearing?
Just wondering if I level this up will heavy armor I pick up be zero weight in my inventory or does the perk only apply to what you have equipped? Any good tips for maximizing carry weight or is there a fast travel while encumbered perk somewhere? Playing without mods.

1 ReplyIf you're worried about being encumbered, drop some loot near a fast travel location. Go back to your home (if you bought a home at this point), put loot in your chest and then fast travel back to where you dumped the rest. Then just go back to your home.

Equipped armor only. Anything else is still weighted unless equipped.

Edited by Naja: 11/14/2016 8:38:21 PMIt applies for all heavy armor, very useful Edit: Just tested, it seems that if you have a piece of heavy armor equipped, any duplicates of that armor will weigh nothing in your inventory, but other heavy armor will still weigh you down

Another tip for carrying more is through the Pickpocket skill tree. Once you reach level 50, there is a perk to increase carrying capacity by 100.

Try the steed stone it gives you that plus an extra one hundred carrying capacity
