Assuming we are allowed to continue playing as our Titans, Hunters, and Warlocks in Destiny 2, I'm hoping we'll have some new subclasses and Super Abilities to keep things fresh and gives us new ways to grow our characters. I have a few ideas on that might be done.
First is the introduction of a new element; Lunar Light. This form of Light glows pearl-green, and is a product of the dark magic wielded by the Hive, which was studied by Tolland the Shattered and harnessed to serve the Traveler. This new element would also be present on weapons; when killing enemies with abilities and weapons that disintegrate foes- like Fusion Rifles- Lunar light causes them to liquefy into a puddle of silver-green goo.
I'm sorry if the new Titan and Hunter's new super abilities sound uninspired; the only one of these I had really thought out when I started typing was the Warlock's Time Warp, which I think would be the most game-changing. Please share your thoughts and suggestions!

The dark magics studied buy Tolland the Shattered are now yours to command. Wield Lunar Light as a means to bend time and space with the new Time Warp super abilities; slow time in an area around you to move faster than your enemies, heal your allies or even bring them back to life, replenish ammo, health, or abilities using your Warp Strike melee ability, or disrupt and destroy your enemies with the Web Mine, Meteorite Grenade, and Impact Grenade.

-Slows time in an area around the caster, allowing you to move faster than anyone caught in the Time Warp for a short time. Enemies caught in the Time Warp are slowed, but can still use abilities. Grenades and projectiles are also slowed.

Time Warp has a larger radius and lasts longer.
[b]+Upgrade Node: Time Out[/b]
Instantly recover health, melee, and grenade energy when Time Warp is cast.
[b]+Upgrade Node: Reversal[/b]
Dead allies caught in the radius of Time Warp are resurrected. Time Warp has reduced duration.
[b]Melee Ability: Warp Strike[/b]
-Strike an enemy to cause them to take more damage from all sources.
[b]+Upgrade Node: Rewind[/b]
Kills with Warp Strike resets melee cooldown.
[b]+Upgrade Node: Return to Sender[/b]
Warp Strike deals more damage as your health gets lower, and kills replenish health.
[b]+Upgrade Node: Replenish[/b]
Kills with Warp Strike return ammo to the magazine for Primary and Special weapons.
[b]Grenade Ability: Web Mine[/b]
-Throw a proximity mine that slows enemies caught in it's radius when it detonates.
[b]Grenade Ability: Meteorite Grenade[/b]
-A grenade that sticks to enemies and deals more damage to those it sticks to.

-A high-explosive grenade that explodes on impact, weakening enemies caught it it's radius.

Having delved into the deepest fathoms of the Hellmouth and returned with the secrets of the Hive, you have learned to shape Lunar Light and can now wield the awesome power of Meteor Shower super ability and bombard your enemies with deadly explosives. Your Enthrall melee ability will allow you to turn minions of the Darkness against each other and confuse opposing Guardians into turning on their allies. Caltrops, Meteorite Grenades, and Siphon Grenades will allow you to poison, explode, or draw power from your enemies.

-Open a tear in time and space to unleash a bombardment of meteorites that destroy enemies caught in impact zone.

-Minions of the Darkness turn on their allies and fight alongside you. Enemy Guardians can no longer differentiate between friend and foe, causing friendly fire.

Enthralled enemies are more aggressive. Minions of the Darkness take more damage from enthralled enemies, and friendly fire remains active for longer on enemy Guardians.
[b]+Upgrade Node: Exploder Thrall[/b]
Enemies killed while Enthralled explode, dealing damage in an area around them.
[b]+Upgrade Node: Corruption[/b]
Enthrall gains an extended radius and can affect multiple enemies at once. The Enthralled effect is delayed against enemies Guardians, activating randomly after being struck.
[b]Grenade Ability: Caltrops[/b]
-Unleashes a cluster of spiked traps that poison enemies who step on them.
[b]Grenade Ability: Meteorite Grenade[/b]
-A grenade that sticks to enemies and deals more damage to those it sticks to.
[b]Grenade Ability: Siphon Grenade[/b]
-A powerful bolt grenade that deals no damage, but generates Orbs of Light for each enemy caught in the radius.

Titans who ventured beyond the City walls have learned to use their enemy's own weapons against them, and thus can now use the power of Lunar Light to Illuminate themselves and their allies, strengthening both themselves and inspiring their followers with confidence. Use the Gravity Strike melee ability to force enemies back, or break your opponents with Impact Grenades, Stasis Grenades, or Gravity Grenades.
[b]Super Ability: Illuminate[/b]
-Come ablaze with Lunar Light to inspire your allies, maxing out Armor, Recovery, and Agility for you and your followers and resetting the cooldowns on grenade and melee abilities for you and your allies. Only affects those within range on activation.
[b]+Upgrade Node: Luminosity[/b]
Gain additional charges for your Melee and Grenade abilities while Illuminate is active.
[b]+Upgrade Node: Enrage[/b]
You and allies deal more weapon damage while Illuminate is active.
[b]+Upgrade Node: Inspire[/b]
You and your allies take less damage while Illuminate is active.
[b]Melee Ability: Gravity Strike[/b]
-Knocks enemies back with a powerful burst of antigravity.
[b]+Upgrade Node: Gravitational Vortex[/b]
Enemies hit with Gravity Strike take more damage from all sources for a short time.

Gravity Strike gains an area of effect, and can knock back multiple enemies.

Gravity Strike knocks enemies back further, and enemies take more damage from colliding with objects.

-A grenade that sticks to enemies and imprisons them in a stasis field, stopping them from moving, but also making them immune to all damage.

-A grenade that creates a black hole that draw enemies towards it when they enter it's radius.

Finally a support class for warlock. Hunter is still unique. Titans would be launching guardians and everyone would be salty.

I main a hunter and I love the new hunt subclass it'd be good in pvp and amazing in pve I mean imagine playing a raid and just opening fire on the boss with meteorites. all the other class's honestly sound pretty balanced for the most part even surprisingly the warlock subclass is decently balanced.

Titan stasis grenade would be awesome if you could stick to fire team members when they're in trouble.

Titan sounds awesome Warlock sounds a lil bit OP Hunter seems a lil left of center They all seem to mix support/defense with offense. You could probably stand to tweak Hunter a bit and maybe tone down a couple things with Warlock.

It should be the hunters one and done super. You shoot something to mark the spot where it will strike. A second later it hits. Make it so that you can cross map with accuracy or luck. Change the perk that allows it to be activated from a further distance to something like predator from nightstalker. You can shoot a spot and it will lay dormant there until someone comes within close proximity of it. I'll try to think of something and put it in when I design it. Overall, I must say I really like the idea. Would be interested to see the passives for this. Also, any changes for the jumps?

5 RepliesHow about a Time Warp ability that lets you travel 30secs into the past? Say your whole fireteam got Titan Smashed at heavy ammo? go back 30secs, warn everyone to spread out and be ready for it. Plus there's the bonus of both you and your past self being available to fight for those 30secs (7man fireteam temporarially)

I'm not sure about that fusion rifle animation. The silvery green goo is gonna be a no. The Titan super is just a big no. The maxed out armor is just a horrible idea. And then the hunter just sounds like a nova Bomb with shatter
