Armor piercing rounds don't

I do not know who the imbecile at Bungle was that thought changing the stat for armor piercing rounds to "increase range" by a tiny itty bitty sliver was a grand idea to pander to pvp lag switching cheaters, But... It doesn't and shouldn't read that way in the description unless it does. You guys are idiots. REALLY STUPID. All you had to do was make armor piercing rounds do what they say and everyone would be happy inPVE land. THEY NEED TO PIERCE ARMOR YOU MORONS. Hive shields, 25% base damage PAST elemental shields. CABAL Shields. in the real world THAT IS WHAT THESE THINGS ARE FOR. Please fire your employee who thought this up and hire someone with a brain. Jesus I'm scared you people can reproduce. DO you even play your own game? Terrified.

  • It was awesome for killing the swordbearer in the Crota fight...that dude was so annoying and hid behind rocks all the time! LDR+AP perk ftw back then. But then getting sniped behind a wall in pvp was kinda Op.

    • Armor Piercing Rounds allow all bullets to travel through targets and hit more targets until they hit a surface. Granted most bullets are Hit Scan, but that's the idea. On Snipers and only Snipers, if you hit someone with a Headshot, the bullet will continue and hit other things without Armor Piercing Rounds. Armor Piercing Rounds are great if you are looking for crowd control. Armor Piercing Rounds allows bullets to do full damage to up to 5 enemies where the bullets stop. With Snipers, the max increases from 3 to 7. Having Armor Piercing Rounds is fantastic on Hand Cannons, Fusion Rifles, and Auto Rifles.

      • OP is an idiot. Armor piercing rounds are there to allow you to shoot through multiple enemies at once. Also, it does increase range. Go test it.

          • Armour piercing rounds should actually work and also penetrate the jug shields on titans. They should deal half damage if hitting the shield first though...... The key hole perk and armour piercing rounds are so useless after the nerfs. I'm not saying buff them to op but ....... Something

          • They CAN be useful against certain enemy types, like Thrall and the slow moving Vex Goblins (you can easily position yourself to hit multiple, and they often spawn in groups and lines). But yeah, most of the times it's bloody pointless. I was thinking they MAYBE should work on making them in PvP work like your suggestion against enemy elemental shields for Overshield, and work like your suggestion for cabal shields for the Jug shields.

          • They used to penetrate things, then they got nerfed due to cross spawn kills within fractions of a game start.
