Bungie: Here's a good primary.
Community: Nerf that primary!
Bungie: That primary has been nerfed.
Community: Why nerf that primary? Buff primaries!

Our community in a nutshell.

Clever dragon... what a game breaker, no skill required to use it and should be nerfed. Talk about ruin a whole game in the space of a single event. Poor show bungie.
-
Agreed! This community mind boggles me! #nomorenerfs!
-
Weapons get ruined because they're overused. And people wonder why folk don't bother playing anymore.
-
..and weapons get overused because everything else has basically been nerfed into the dirt. It's a vicious cycle where everyone loses.
-
Apparently there is a miscommunication the communities wants all primaries buffed but Bungie sees oh they only want one buffed.

Edited by Stealth101010: 11/12/2016 4:05:08 PMExactly, you know thinking back on it all throughout the taken king everyone said the same thing. Pulse rifles are in a really weird place in the meta right now. Now we get one good primary pulse rifle and I feel the entire meta is going to change in just under a week. Now if Bungie could apply some fixes to the the hand cannon problems and the auto rifles I think we'll have ourselves a game. Not just a.......special weapon dominated festival that the last iron banner was. Last iron banner was fun don't get me wrong but.....so many shot guns WTF.

I enjoyed the last Iron Banner purely because I knew we wouldn't see anything like it again. I was a shameless shotgun warrior last month, safe in the knowledge that if I came across a competant sidearm wielder, I'd be as good as dead. Because Clever Dragon is so widespread right now, it's ripe for nerfing. This community contradicts itself so much. As soon as a competitive primary weapon shows itself, the community flips out and demands it get tuned down. When it inevitably does, the community wonders why special weapons dominate PvP with no primary weapon counters.
