The MOST I'm getting killed by is shotgun + warlock melee.......there's something wrong when a melee has more range than most shotguns in the game

Thank you. I thought I was the only one. Trying to get a god roll Clever Dragon meanwhile getting negative kd's since all they you play against is Shotgun/melee Warlocks.. [spoiler]Every--blam!-ing-time[/spoiler]

Only 1 warlock melee has that range and you lose another perk using it.

Get the right gear to counter the warlock melee, and your golden , get arc or fire, armor resist gear, and the artifact that nerfs damage over time , DOT.

All they have to do is hit you with half a shotgun blast from 20 feet away and finish you with a melee which doesn't have to be charged. I just finished my iron banner bounties on my warlock and I got TONS of melee kills that wouldn't even have come close to hunter or Titan range or damage. I main all three classes so I know first hand how ridiculous warlock melees are

that won't really help unless he's playing a titan with max armor . Otherwise , a stormcaller just has to shoot his shotgun close enough to simply deal 75 dalage (generally from 5-10 meters) and the melee WILL kill you since it deals 125 damage . That's crazy , litterally tripling the one-shot range of a shotgun .
