Grimoire points, what does this do?

Can someone explain to me what the grimoire points do exactly? Do they help us or just points?

  • Grimoure cards can be found in the app and show lore. Other than that they do nothing.

    • It's a solid measure of ePenis size. Studies have shown grimoire over 5000 attracts .04% more gamerchicks.

Hello, Grimoire score tells you how long a player has been around, or even more so how much stuff they've done on an account. However, certain Grimoire cards actually give you boosts and bonuses in game. For instance, after getting 5,000 kills with a Hand Cannon all characters will earn weapon experience faster for Hand Cannons. Additionally, after killing 750 Thrall all characters earn more Glimmer when Thrall are killed with a Black Wax Idol active. Check out your Active Bonuses in the Destiny Companion App under Grimoire. There you can find which Bonuses you already have, and also which ones you're closest to getting. Cheers. Schnemley

        • They are useless. Ignore them and move on.

        • It causes completionists to whine forever. That's it's main function.

The more you have the better you are at the game, they exclusively equal your skill level!

Hey, Grimoire is a point value for certain activities and items. For example it's you kill certain bosses get a certain amount of kills with a weapon type you will get grimoire points. Grimoire is also a way to track how many grimoire involved tasks you have completed.

            • They are just points but also tell the story behind destiny as they didn't add much into the game itself, if you want to know more about the lore then you can read each grimoire card.
