I also find Matador incredibly boring, largely because so many people use it. There are some really interesting and fun weapons in Destiny so it's a shame seeing so many people use such a small range of guns. In terms of the gun itself, I have no problem with the one-hit kill thing, it's the insane range rolls that are silly. You should not be able to one shot kill me with a shotgun when I am at a distance from you that is roughly the equivalent to the fall-off point of my sidearm with reinforced barrel, in my opinion.
