(If you disagree with me, feel free to. But let's keep it civil guys please. There's gonna be enough hate on the internet today. Let's not add to it. Respect and decency for life bro!)
Okay, whether or not you like Destiny (I do) or you don't (some don't), I think we can all agree, at least for people who were here from the start: it's not what we were expecting. We were expecting full on open worlds with massive amounts of things to do, lots of content, space battles, awesome guns, custom PVP as well as the the elite modes, the list goes on and I'm sure there is something on YOUR personal wishlist. (IN GAME GRIMOIRE for me. Add yours!)
Point is, this game is alright... but it could be so much more. And the only way it will be so much more, is if we throw out the old and redo things with the lessons we learned from 1. Bigger worlds. More things to do. Better guns. ETC.
The problem with doing this is that in doing so, a lot will be left behind. And I know a lot of people would be mad at all their hard work being left behind. Hell, I know I am. I just did the Thorn bounty and knowing that there is a real chance that may be irrelevant in 2 really pisses me off.
But we need to think? Why do we play games? For fun. So which would you rather have: A bunch of in game items, or a version of Destiny that (Hopefully) is in every way superior to this one?
For many that answer wil be different. But me? I'd much rather have a better game.

As long as emblems and shaders would be moved over than I'd be alright.
