Prefer Sidearms, Fusion Rifles for most uses, Snipers in PvE because I usually use Scout or Pulse Rifles as Primaries these days. I'd like to go back to using Handcannons but every time I pull out my Hawkmoon it breaks my heart. Sidearms do better what Handcannons were meant to according to the contradictory guy running weapon balance. When shotguns got buffed in PvE they were fun to use and I gave them a fair shake but ever since the Vestian Dynasty I've loved Sidearms-especially as a complement to Scout and Pulse Rifles. I still miss my launch loadout of Handcannon paired with Fusion Rifle; run gun and leave 'em well done. Too many hoops to jump through to make that gameplay style viable for my taste.
