So I'm currently using dragonscale armor with my own personal enchantments and I'm basically untouchable. I'm a sneaky little bastard with a terribly powerful bow. I love the thieves guild armor and Nightingale armor, but I feel like compared to my own personal armor they seriously hinder me.
Is there even any point in using the unique armors in the game.
P.S. I'm on an Xbox One

I wear medium armor. A mix of nightingale chest and headpiece and Nordic carved gauntlets and leg peices. Or the Nordic armor chest and legs with nightingale arms and head. Looks gud brah

With max enchanting, there really isnt a reason to use the unique gear- aside from rp reasons or preferences or anything along those lines. Craft your own gear and slap two decent enchantments on it, and dont forget there are ways to make them much stronger if you wanted to. But, of course, it's all based on how you wanna play

Edited by What I Look Like: 11/10/2016 2:10:31 PMMaybe Deathbrand (that Stahlrim set from Dragonborn DLC)? Eventually you'd end up with better enchantments yourself though. I always end up with dragonscale armor as well, but I never REALLY wear it. Fully upgraded it has above 800 defense and you just really don't need that at any point tbh. I get the Guildmaster armor and upgrade that, gets me to ~550 armor rating. Any other enchantment I need I end up putting on my ring and necklace.
