Banned for Bad Connection? Sorta F's over anyone not in US or UK.
Disclaimer, I am not banned.
Yet.
I'm Canadian. I live up here in Canada.
Most of my connections will be with US or UK players because of SBMM. I'm nearly never matched with players from my own country.
Because of this, my connection is shit. It also doesn't help my internet isn't the best. However, it is adequate for 3v3. I never lag in any 3v3 mode. The lag becomes apparent in 6v6 modes.
In Iron Banner, I do sometimes lag. Should I be punished for something entirely out of my control? I can't exactly choose who I'm connected to, because Bungie favors SBMM over CBMM.

People are not being banned for having a bad connection. They are being banned for cheating, then run to the forums to claim they are banned for having bad connection. Dont beleive cheaters...they cheat and lie.

Yeah lol I live in Australia and we have really bad internet connection.... If I get banned I will lose the plot honnestly.
