Seriously, the amount of salt in this thread is both insane and totally ignorant. Firstly, the comment section of a post is possibly the worst place to write your complaints, and secondly the vast majority of the people commenting do not seem to understand Bungie's situation right now. Before you go and post a spite filled reply let me finish here. Let's set the record straight on a couple things. First off, the live team does not do weapon balances. You're asking the engineers to also be the architects and expecting a masterpiece of both. Secondly, on the topic of slow patches, depending on which reports you follow, up to NINETY FIVE PERCENT of Bungie is currently working on Destiny 2. If my memory serves Bungie has around 700 employees, that means you are asking 35 people to push out a detailed monthly patch, run live events AND generate content. And that is counting every employee as a programmer. Have some patience, as a sniper I personally feel very weak in the Crucible right now, but Bungie has player data that we don't, and maybe it will take a bit longer for a patch but that is a sacrifice to ensure that Destiny 2 is a better product than Destiny 1, and a year from now you will likely be very glad that sacrifice was made. I'm not trying to be a Bungie poster child here, and to say I'm tired of some of the issues in the game is an understatement, but I'm willing to appreciate the difficulty of Bungie's current status and give them a bit of time, just give it a rest.
As a side note, being in Computer Science, a patch like this would have been extremely simple to put through and requires all but no testing, one person probably could have done this in a day, very different from balance changes.
