Upcoming changes to Silver Dust go live 11/8/2016

There has been some great feedback about the Silver Dust Economy. Here is a preview of what is coming.

We are currently working on several changes to the Silver Dust economy to improve the player experience. We want to ensure that players who are completing Rise of Iron’s pinnacle challenges feel rewarded for their success. With this patch Trials, Wrath of the Machine, and Iron Lord Armor Ornaments will no longer require Silver Dust to apply. The Silver Dust requirement for applying Exotic Weapon Ornaments will remain, as the Silver Dust required for application is provided by the Radiant Treasure box.
Year 1 and Year 2 Iron Banner armor found in Dusty Iron Engrams and on activity completion of Iron Banner matches was incorrectly dismantling into Legendary Marks. With the patch, these items, when dismantled, will now yield 1 Silver Dust.
These changes are being made to promote a positive player experience as well as accommodate future changes and balances to the Eververse and Silver Dust economy which we will reveal in our winter release.[/quote]

2 RepliesI'm surprised that no one has mentioned the "b" word, ya know the one about the boy and his cott? Seriously with the millions of people that play bungie games and with all the fed up comments about drop rates of everything, space for this and that, returns on dismantling certain armor. How about we stop playing?. If we play we pay. Think about it bungie cannot survive without destiny. And there hasn't been a good halo game in years. So let's put a choke hold on their cash flow. No players means no revenue. No revenue means their investors raise eyebrows and ask questions. Other than that my major grip is matchmaking in pve and pvp. There is no reason why I or anyone else that is damn near or at the light cap should be matched with johndoe character level 15 light level 20.
