Hands down, THE BEST FUSION RIFLE
I think many people have read this kind of post but this is no lie... Saladin's Vigil is the best fusion rifle... ever!
Granted you need a decent role, to kick some guardian ass in the crucible, but it's well worth the grind.
Here is the role you should be going for:
- Rifled Barrel (gives it disgusting range capabilities)
- Single Point Sling/Quickdraw (both excellent choices in clutch moments)
- Hot Swap/Range Finder (Can be interchanged depending on your primary weapon)
Get out to Archon's Forge already and get that Saladin's Vigil! You won't be disappointed.

I have rifled barrel, enhanced battery/snapshot and range finder. Great gun.

ALWAYS go for stability over range on a fusion rifle. Your fusion doesn't have a stability perk, and so you'll have a harder time landing all the shots you need for a kill from mid range.

Personally I like my thesan with rangefinder, accelerated coils and hotswap

You don't even need range perks, the gun has no damage falloff. I cross map people with ease, all you need is a high stability perk.

Got one with Rifled Barrel / Braced Frame Enchanted Battery Hot Swap. It's pretty good!

I have one with accelerated coils , it's still not as good as plan c.

I'd go for a Thesan from the Gunsmith instead. Really high natural stability, so you can opt for Rifled Barrel without neglecting stability. (which is very important on a fusion) I'm loving my Panta Rhei though. Rangefinder, Braced Frame, and Surrounded. (yuck) Last perk is bleh but it's been great for me.

Agree 100% it melts just about everything and I've always been a huge fan of Fusions. Pocket Infinity was a great one, IMO.
