Another way to get silver dust
Would anyone be interested in trying to convince Bungie to allow us to breakdown Iron Lord Artifacts into silver dust. Not a lot, just three to five perhaps. My thinking is simply that, once you have all of them, it's a lot of grinding for the weekly quest to get what amounts to a few legendary marks once you dismantle the duplicate.
I don't see them allowing this honestly, but still, who'd like to see a better payout once you're grinding for copy artifacts? Share your thoughts.
Edit: So there's a lot of, "Bungie never listens to us anyway" going on. I get it. It doesn't always feel like we're getting through. But [i]some[/i] of what we want is heard, and has made it into the game. If we stop trying, then we as the community are just failing each other.

Nah. Don't give a shit about silver dust. It's a con currency designed to make you spend real money. Remove it from the game.

7 RepliesSilver dust is so easy to get its not funny I had over 100 at one point. And I only have 1 character . All those ornaments are utterly pointless so break them down and you got the stuff coming out ur ears

1 ReplyI'm not saying I am a fan of silver dust. But let me get this straight. I can get one radiant treasure a week, per account. If I break the onrament down, I get 6 dust. What you suggest is breaking down artifacts, which in theory, have no weekly cap. I can get three a week super easy, if I was super motivated, I could delete and re roll a character. Time consuming as it is, that option is there. But let's leave it at 3. That is 9-15 silver dust a week extra... no way does bungie hand you that.

They haven't removed the silver dust cost from raid gear, I doubt they will ever fix the silver dust economy since the stuff they promised is still not done.

Why not let us break down the Iron Lord's Legacy that we use to obtain the Artifacts? I have 15 of them sitting in the Vault and on my Warlock (they can only stack up to eight). This would give this particular item more value and would make the Quest to obtain them viable even after you have all the Artifacts (with good stat rolls and everything).
