Pretty much HoF Pulse rifles are the meta tbh in the crucible. Same goes for shotguns, but I wish they will buff LoF Auto rifles.
Edit: Now don't get me wrong, I have a good roll on my Agesis of the Reef. It's on my Warlock.

Aegis is good...but the mag is too small. If my Suros gets a buff, I'd play with nothing else anymore. It's still a beast at mid range.

My aegis has red dot oas, send it, full auto, head seeker. This thing melts in the crucible. Its becoming my crutch I'm afraid.

Edited by haphazardlynamed: 11/5/2016 3:12:35 AMI do pretty terrible in Crucible like a .8k/d is normal for me I'm highly unskilled unless I pull out Grasp of Malok, then i go up to 1.2 - 2.0 instantly if that's not an OP meta, I dunno what is course, I don't *like* to pull out the Grasp, because using only 1 gun is boring but damn, I sure do lose a lot if I Don't use it

You want to get better at the crucible? Just play it. Make a point to play at least 2-3 matches a day. As time goes on, you will be getting better and better. Trust me, I didn't even know what PvP was when I started this game. I'm by no means a killer, but when I got started I had like a .3 k/d. I'm now around 1.0. I just made it a point to keep playing. Use that grasp dude! That's what its for!!

Same here my K/D was .4 now it's .84 that is due to SUROS and their amazing LRoF auto's

Ok how about this then, just play and have fun. Forget about k/d, forget about what your friends are doing. Just play, use different load outs, different characters but most important....have fun! I'm telling you, YOU WILL GET BETTER! If a middle aged man and his wife can see improvement in their games, I'm positive you can do it to. My thumbs don't move as fast as young people, so I had to practice harder. Just keep playing bro! You'll get it!

hard to have fun when you're constantly losing I really wish there was a way to reset the SBMM rating for whatever reason I get put with people who outmatch me all the time

Exactly. That's what the meta is. If you don't use the meta weapons then your K/D will go negative, but if you do use the Meta weapons then you'll go positive. Some people can go positive without using the meta weapons, some can break the meta by using variety of weapons.

You know what?, I quit caring about k/d and I'm having the best time. I've used sooo many different weapons and some with success. Try It!

You're telling him to just keep playing like that'll make him better in crucible. But that's not how you get better. You have to know where to go, what grenades to use and how to counter snipers and shotgunners alike. You're a 1.05 KD as is so there's barely any point him taking advice from you.

Dude, if he keeps playing he learns this stuff. Can't learn maps without playing on them can you? More you play, the more experience you gain, the more experience you gain, the more your confidence grows. I said I was no big killer, but I started with a .3 k/d and moved It up to 1.0 by playing everyday and gaining experience. Also, k/d is the worse f'en stat in PvP. I'd even take ka/d over just k/d. That number doesn't tell the real story. By you bringing up my k/d shows me that your some scrubby k/d elitist that I usually don't waste time on. I just wanted you to know where I was coming from.
