I myself own rise of iron. Yes I preordered it.
No just because it isn't widespread doesn't rule out a bug specific to me.
Not how computers and systems work in my experience.
With each character being unique and ,each system being unique as well with the various circumstances ,and load outs and, also the different software ,...It is possible that something happened that messed up my character or account in game.
I have signed into another PS4 in my home as well which I bought a separate rise of iron for my wife. Also preordered.
I have restored licenses on both to try and remedy this.
PlayStation says I have the gear and wipes their hands clean. Again. The least bungie can do is have somebody on their end take a look.
I don't believe it is unreasonable to expect that as well.
