The Executor's Champion quest not working with Rise of Iron faction class items
To Bungie -
[b]I'm not looking for player or peer help here, I know the issue and don't need peer advice. I need only Bungie or a moderator to respond please.[/b]
I am doing The Executor's Champion quest - "Represent New Monarchy in Strikes and the Crucible while wearing a New Monarchy shader, emblem, and class armor":
I am wearing CROWN OF THE NEW MONARCHY emblem, NEFERTITI AK shader, and the HIGH COMMAND CLOAK class armor (class item) which I purchased from the New Monarchy vendor. The quest is not counting any kills or strikes while wearing these items. I did a little searching for issues and found that other players are having the same difficulty and it's largely due to the class armor (class item).
I'm asking Bungie to fix this and add the faction class items that came out in Rise of Iron to the list that allows completion of this quest. Because currently only the year 2 faction class items will count. Please fix this Bungie. We players all grind enough as it is through regular gameplay and contending with cheaters that you don't police anymore. Could you please address the things you can fix?

3 RepliesHey there, Some of the Year 3 (Rise of Iron) Faction class items are not properly registering for the Exotic Faction class item quests. Bungie is aware of this issue and actively investigating for a fix. Do you happen to have any Year 2 Faction class items or a Faction [u]Spektar[/u] variant class item? The Year 2 and Spektar class items are not affected by this issue. If you do not have any, you can still possibly receive a Spektar class item from ranking up and opening a [b]Chroma[/b] Armor package for the given Faction. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you. If you have the Cloak of Order, you should try that. A friend said it worked for him. There are some exceptions aside from the SPEKTAR gear, but it seems the vendor purchased class items do not work at all.

I also just put the entire HIGH COMMAND ARMOR SET ON, with the ARMOR OF VOWS ship, with NEFERTITI AK shader, and EXECUTOR'S RED MARK emblem. All items were New Monarchy and still no progress toward The Executor's Champion quest while doing a Siva Crisis Heroic Strike. This is bs Bungie because I just spent 150 Legendary Marks to get the arms and chest at New Monarchy vendor to complete this set in hopes of getting some progress toward the Executor's Champion quest. Yet, still no progress after every item of gear I'm wearing and flying is New Monarchy.
