Which primary Void weapon did you use to get Year 3 Thorn?
I used the Word of Crota. I never would have considered it during year 1, but I actually had fun with it in crucible!
Another thing. Does anyone else begrudgingly give respect when you see you've been killed by an old classic year 1 weapon that's been left behind?

Primary void??? I was thinking about Atheons epilogue but found it much more fun to run a void side arm the whole time.....kill until you run out of ammo.... die....repeat.....loads of fun...

I just used Conviction II. Made it real simple since this Year 3 bounty is much easier than the Year 1 version and I don't have to worry about dying.

The messenger, it was awesome to get it out of the vault and dust it off.

None. Tried Word of Crota but it's horrible. Just used special and heavy like I did in Y1. The quest is much easier than it was in Y1.

When this quest dropped, I did vault, crota, and skolas on all three characters trying to get a void primary and failed. Did it the old fashioned way. Only regret was getting it on my titan. I still have PTSD from getting dark drinker on him.

I used the Party Crasher + 1. It's this bizarre looking sniper rifle I've got. Don't remember where I picked it up...

And I haven't stepped foot into VoG just yet either All I had was a lousy blue void shotty and a lousy blue void rocket launcher After completing the bounty and receiving Thorn, I assumed all the exotic bounties were going to be this long, so I didn't get too aggravated with how many void kills I needed to get. But later, I soon found out that I luckily finished the most annoying one first I was so sure I wouldn't have to do this Thorn process again...but then year 3 happened

Dont have one. But i've got a shotgun to fight them off.

Didn't use any, luckily got mine on my warlock so just went into mayhem clash with my nothing manacles. Didn't take any time at all :)

Void walker with double scatters and a void havoc pigeon. Had it done in I think two or three matches.
