So this is a work around that seems to work 100% of the time. Trust me when I say I have tried EVERYTHING else! 1. Both players load the game and go to the tower. 2. Both player at the same time press the XBOX button and quit the game. 3. Both players at the same time start destiny again and this should generate a 'WEASEL' error. This should usually happen to both players. 4. Close the error and continue to selecting your characters. 5. You should now be able to join the same fireteam team. I know it's a ball ache it this does genuinely work. You can even leave the fireteam after and you will have no issues rejoining. This is a fix for as long as you are online but the next time you play you will have to do this again. Just goes to show that this is truly a bungie issue as to get this to work no changes to any network settings need to happen. Hope this helps.

The issue is born of the network type your household/domicile possesses and is difficult to improve. A way that my household has been able to do it was to set up two separate WiFi network routers and set each console up to the individual ones. However, since not everyone has the money or connections to get a second high-speed router, I would just suggest sticking with the original suggestion from Mrs. Blaze. I know it is not much consolation, but Bungie is aware of the issue and are currently investigating the cause of it. Isn't this ridiculously irritating? We have three copies in my house alone and can't play in the same fire team.

Dude my ole lady, my son, and I have the same issues. Im hardlined and they are wifi, we have to turn off ps4s and restore liscenses multiple times, and if we are lucky it works. We have great internet and 2 routers. We can play any other game together, but this one since ROI. It is extremly annoying and frustrating.

I understand this frustration completely! My husband and I and our 3 kids all play together and now we can't. This is such bull. We have been faithful Destiny players and like you have spent tons of money on this game. I am so tired of this crap and ready to delete the game. Bungee needs to fix this because they are losing a lot of fans

BUNGIE DOESN'T GIVE A SHIT UNLESS YOU BUY TONS OF SILVER OR ARE A DAMN STREAMER! If this issue affected their precious ass streamers, it would have been fixed months ago! So tired of their incompetence! For a company that has been around for 25yrs, can't really tell with the awful ass decisions they make. But hey, as long as the streamers are happy. This shit has been going on far too long and all we ever hear is blah, blah, blah!

Some off my clan members are experiencing the same problems. But the didn't have these issues before the fall off rise of iron. Especially in raids getting backed out off the game or black screens or laggs like crazy.
