Recommended light level for first time normal wrath raid?
Should you be over 370? Two of my goons are 366 wondering if thats too low to try it. Thoughts?

360 is fine as long as other people are higher. A full team of 360s might have DPS trouble.

I reccomend 370+ because Aksis is a bit hard, 369 (maybe even a high 368) because you get items from siege and Vosik

Possible at 360 or higher, preferable at 370 or higher due to far greater DPS potential, less likely to die, and more likely to be accepted by an LFG team. If you are good, then 350 would be an acceptable light, but due to the nature of most raiders you will never be accepted at that level.

360 could make it to the final encounter but probably won't be able to hold their own, regardless of skill. By the time they learn where to stand they'll be a higher light, you know?

I would recommend 360+. If you're good at staying alive, you can get away with 355

385. Its so easy with strikes and forge why not? And it will allow you to focus on learning mechanics.

AKSIS 2 will be tough at below 370, all enemies will be red.... other than that 360 is a good minimum.

355 65 is the minimum I would suggest, and in the ganes current state, there is no excuse for veing below that. Had a buddy run heroics gor an hour and went from 359 to 371.

Theyre fine. I carried a 349 all the way to aksis, and they hit 360 by the time we got there. He was just too low at that point though, so he and I left (i was about to fall asleep)

365+ should be fine, 360+ will be fine until final encounter.

they will do good. They might do a little less damage at aksis but that's completely fine.

365+ Start is fine. Anyone who says 370+ for normal obviously needs a quick overhaul of their skill level.

1 Reply370 is good to an attemp, you will be ok until aksis phase 2, during aksis phase 2 youll need to be more carefull and have a couple of 380+ or dark drinkers to make up for the damage.

If you have a whole team at 365-370 you CAN get a guy at 350 he would just have to be a bit cautious.

Lots of People were in the 358-365 range for it and did it easy. I think anything above 370 is absolutely fine.

1 Reply365 would be comfortable. But you should be able to net that easy through the opening chest and then the secret one before the boss. May have to leave to decrypt engrams but will be worth it.

2 RepliesYou'll be lucky to find anyone who will try it with you at that light level, Ive not attempted any raid yet but want to try this one, found a group on the forums who then refused saying my light level was to low atonly 380, so grinded on to 385, was then refused because of lack of experience, im now 389, 387 and 386 and now people are are asking for 395+ with experience, must have emblem etc, if you can get a group of friends or clan mates to go through you then you should be fine, finding people on forums is alot harder though, people are to needy, must be this, must have this weapon etc, good luck though,

How good are they at dodging bullets and staying alive? If you are looking at light level as a DPS check you are fine. If you are looking at it like "how long can I stand in the middle of a battlefield getting shot and not die. . ." Might encourage them to level up. It's not hard since bungie raised LL drops for most activities.

371 is ideal to get all the way through. First time I did it was 356. Got as far as thereat zamboni
