Recommended light level for first time normal wrath raid?
Should you be over 370? Two of my goons are 366 wondering if thats too low to try it. Thoughts?

I wasn't "carried" through the raid by any means, but I was taught what to do by them and adapted. You should be fine to do a fresh run at mid to high 360. I would just be on bomb duty for Aksis and let a higher light knock the captain out and take the cannon. As long as you have everyone 365+ and at least one or two people who know what they're doing, you should be fine. Might take a bit to learn, though.

Depends. If you're running with 5 X 380+ ppl then they can basically carry u through the whole thing. If you're with other virgins then I would get to 370+ tbh, just to make life a little easier

366 will be fine from fresh. Phase 2 maybe 375 would be good

370 is more than enough all you need is to know the mechanics, this raid is 95% communication and team work, and 5% skill and LL. It's not mechanic focused like Kings Fall. Watch a 7 minutes video on it get 2 or 3 people who have done it before to explain few things and help out and most importantly is people who will be committed to the end to finish it especially Aksis Phase 2

365 is fine. Just tell them to watch out for the captains at the end.

Did at at 350 first time was 360 by the end you just need a good team who knows what they're doing and is decent enough not to die too often

As long as you're a 371 by Aksis Phase 2 you will be fine. Hell, even if you're lower you'll be alright as long as you have three high light captain killers

You can get up to 385 fairly easily just doing the Heroic strike playlist, Archon's Forge, and opening legendary engrams from both. So because it's pretty easy to get higher, I would recommend 375 at least as the final encounter is 380

I first did it at 364 but I wouldn't recommend it

For normal 365 as all blue engrams will get you there. You can do it lower but will need some higher Light teammates who know what they are doing

It's not hard to get to 385. Engrams and strikes.

365 for the most part. So long as most of your team are way higher, simply it guarantees better DPS overall. At the Aksis Phase 2, I would say above 375 as the shanks, Captains and Boss all do a lot of damage to you.

385 will defenitly get you in a group. 350 would be absolute minimum, as long as you're good (the light level hurts you). 360 is accepted by most groups, 370 should get you in a group fairly easily.

I did it at 354 first time. No issues minus getting one-shotted by captains at Aksis. 360-365 or higher is a decent middle ground for dps/survivability
