Any chance in the near future we can get a dps meter for raids? Nothing fancy, just something to see how the team is doing and what can be improved upon. Would rather see the dps during and after encounter, not when the team wipes. Thanks for your time.

1 ReplyDPS is actually the least of the problems on the average WoTM raid team. As long as you are at or above the recommended light levels and have half decent weapons you're fine. It's the folks who continuously die, can't coordinate themselves into a clean room on time, don't know where to stand during empowerment or forget how to jump when it's their turn to slam Aksis that ruin runs.

Be careful what you wish for! You might get kicked for not putting in work. But it's not hard. Just listen to what people say works best.
-
They should add that feature when you pull out your Ghost and scrolling up on the d-pad, after modifier tab. Or have an on-screen on the left of your screen UI to show how much dps you made along with other players in the fireteam.
-
You can see your total damage once you have cleared it. Normal mode my usual is about 4.5 mil. Hard is about 3.2 - 3.5.
-
Would be near impossible to see exact damage on any boss fight in the raid. Cannons account for most dps so anyone who pick up a cannon will by pretty high on Aksis, also bomb damage counts, so that's 130k per bomb, even though it's only doing damage to the shield. Also the first bomb thrown at vosik only does 2k damage, so even if someone is always throwing first, they will have 128k less damage than all 5 other people. Would still like to see a damage counter on strike bosses though.

What you want I a fancy dancy health bar. As It so happens it has already been installed on every enemy in the game. All this will cost you a big few though. We know you can't afford our prices so we have gone ahead and nerfed fusion rifles. Have a nice day guardian.

Look at the boss hp??

2 RepliesSo instead of say, more vault space, you'd rather them implement a redundant system for checking how much damage you're doing to a boss? You can't tell already how by his big, giant, yellow health bar beneath his name? Or by the numbers given to you after you beat him? Or that your new strategy worked because you did it in 3 cycles instead of 4? Or 2 cycles instead of 3?
a real time dps tracker can only lead to abuse down the road, especially on LFG sites. Didn't do your "share" at Vosiks? Kicked This just adds to the elitism that rules this community
You can see dps during and after already
-
You can see total damage on wipes.
-
This is exactly how "must have x weapons" to join raid team start. I like the fact that the majority of dps on the bosses can be done without specific loadouts. Just throw siva bombs or cannons.
-
A lot of this raid's damage is based on things other than guns, ie siva charges and scorch cannons so it won't be very helpful without modifications to account for that
-
Awful idea
-
2 Repliesor you could just hit the bosses like you should and after you look at the damage. if its more than 1/4 of the bar you can win, if its under 1/5 you need more dps anyway and should wipe to see whos not dealing damage and either get them up find a way to compensate
-
This meter would just fuel assholes to kick people from the raids.
-
I like this idea....
-
There is one, after you die
-
If you really want to know, the one thing you can do is leave your fire team as soon as you beat the boss. Then, you can look at the after action report and it will show you the total dps. Or, you could just look at what everyone has and that will give you the best idea, just watch the shots going on around you while you're fighting the boss.
-
1 ReplyThere already is one. It's right below the boss name.

3 RepliesEdited by Dadiola: 10/28/2016 4:57:05 PMSure, I'm going to stop dpsing the boss so I can check and see how others are dpsing the boss...great idea. That big yellow bar underneath his name is sufficient.
-
1 ReplyUhhh yeah. It's called the bosses health bar
-
It's a fantastic tool to see whose being carried in a seamless run. Worked wonders filtering the trash in WoW. The damage meter at wipes are alright, but a live dps meter would be amazing
-
4 RepliesI can see it now "-blam!- you noob! You only did 20k damage! You're the reason we wiped!" -elite piece of shit to a noob that was hoping to learn the raid.
returned to orbit.
-
er, I thought that was the boss health bar ?
-
1 ReplyI'd like to see it if I didn't know exactly how it'll turn out. People will just start kicking others for not doing enough damage and you'll see people in recruitment asking for X damage output. I would like it though if that kinda thing can be avoided.
