I say if they want my money, they need to prove the product is worth buying. Destiny is fun, but it's not a quality product. Compare to something like Witcher 3; the base game they released was massive, and well worth the $60. After proving how high quality a product they can produce, I'm not at all hesitant to buy the dlc. It's also relevant to the discussion here that I know what I'm getting for my money, too. As I said, Destiny is fun, but there isn't much depth to it. The majority of activities have to be repeated ad nauseum to reach the end*. This isn't necessarily a problem in itself, but expanded across now 4 dlcs, the game just isn't worth putting money into. And now, instead of giving us a new, quality product, then offering fun events (that aren't just playing the same content with a mask on) with microtransactions, they give us basically the same event we had last year, but with more stuff hidden behind a paywall. I'm not okay with Bungie saying we have to buy silver for them to be able to give us events at all, then they bring us such half-assed efforts. Show us what you got (maybe without a hype train for once), and make it worth buying; stop using bs events as fronts for the silver store.
