So, you play the game for gear only? There's your problem, the game isnt fun for you

Ppl who play the strike list for hours do. That's not me at all. I can wait. I can raid , I can do crucible bounties and quests, and I can do anything else that is way less repetitive than running strikes that we've all run many times before. How does this make me someone who plays only for gear lol!

I don't think they said the game isn't fun for them. I'm interpreting it as, this specific thing isn't working as well as it used to and I would rather not play something I don't feel is rewarding me enough for the effort.
