- Why do most guardians hate streamers??
- What do you have against them??
- Aren't they good if they help lower skilled players out instead of running stacked, which would limit your chances of beating them and going 9-0
-
They can't take hate
-
I watched a streamer for the first time on Sunday and oh man what luck he had every time he came up against a good team one of them would always get booted, I mean I watched for about 2 hours he done 3-4 cards and on every card at least 2 people got booted from the other team talk about good luck

They cry for nerfs and then Bungie caters to them.
-
Most guardians hate them because they carry people
-
Probably because they get paid to play so people are just jealous or annoyed about it. Some are can be douches though but then again everyone is a douche at some point lol
-
Majority of them have a terrible taste in music selection.
-
Most of them are one trick ponies and jackasses who either use their followers to harass other players or allow them to do it without any punishment.
-
I don't hate them but I do find the whole thing to be irrelevant.
-
Because they get to play destiny for a living and everyone else thinks they're better because they have a "real job".
-
People need something to bitch about
-
All they do is run clearly op weapons and subclass setups and show the world how to be a gigantic puss in the crucible. That's why I hate them anyway
-
Only about 4% of Destiny players actually come to the forums. Just saying.
-
Because streamers get extra health ;)

People get upset when others have what they want. Admittedly some are annoying but that's a personality thing rather than the fact that they're a streamer.
-
Just what I want to do in life, play competitive pvp against a professional. Sounds fun.
-
Same reason any person who is "known" is vilified. People are jealous. If a regular guy had a 3 kd/r they'd be looked at as great. If it is a streamer someone doesn't like they are still trash and there would be something wrong with something they do. There are few people that are legitimately upset at their impact on PvP with no strings attached, but even then is the hate really justified? If they didn't advertise carries or even stream at all, you'd probably never even notice their alleged "influence". But, since they are well known, it's easy to target them and point fingers.
-
I hate situations like as follows: when king goth just has a want to do trials when a regular streamer I normally watch is doing carries... but he makes said streamer drop doing the carries and help him to the lighthouse instead... it annoys me to no end that streamers get special treatment is all...
-
Because the vast majority are attention whores.
-
Take a pool of 9 players. 3 streamers, 6 poor players. You could have 1 team of streamers stomping, and two teams of poor players. Or, you can have 3 teams all with a pro player on them. It basically makes it so there are a larger number of teams with players who eat breath and sleep PvP, making it more difficult for poorer players to have a chance. If my first 3 matches were 1 team of incredible players, and two teams of average players, i would lose 1, and stand a chance against the other 2. But with streams doing carries, I instead face 3 teams I have no chance against as an average player giving me three losses right away.
-
If u ever played with one... it's pretty -blam!-ing annoying
-
I don't mind streamers, some I actually like. But there is one in particular that if I meet him in pvp, I'm gonna try my best to embarrass him. Might work, might not but damn it I'm going all in for that match lol
-
They seem too much like youtubers. And youtubers seem like terrible people. And terrible people are bad hombres
-
The endless munching on Cheetos for one thing.....
-
Because they are more successful than I am while doing the same thing.
-
You mean hate a fellow gamer that is passionate enough about they game they play to broadcast it? The hate comes from ignorance nothing more
