Why should a shatter nova bomb break a bubble and kill everyone inside?

I never understood why warlocks can just completely destroy a defender bubble and wipe everyone inside with shatter, it just don't get why they should be able to totally negate the ward and make that super useless.

  • Ward of Dawn is essentially useless in crucible. You have to time it's use to get the most out it. When you get your super keep track of when the enemy team gets their and when they've used them. Otherwise as soon as you pop it in say rift or control, you'll get obliterated asap. And blessings or weapons are useless I've found. Because that bubble is an obvious target so once you step out with either or those you get dropped before you can use them. Armor is the way to go with a shotgun and no backup plans on. The fact that all supers besides another ward or sunsinger destroy the shield is pathetic. The one thing I don't like about Destiny is that each class is supposed to have a role. The titans being the tanks. So they're supposed to be able to take a hit. Their key feature of being one, Ward of Dawn, is too weak to serve any purpose outside of PvE. Hopefully this changes in Destiny 2. Either buff it's strength against supers or get rid of it for some other defense/support super.
