Get Rid of RNG in Eververse!
Seriously, if you are gonna ask us to spend money at all on cosmetic content (especially if it's being sold for a short time once a year), there should NOT ever be RNG involved. Everything should follow the SRL Sparrow package idea where you are GUARANTEED a item you don't already have until you get everything in the package. This is where Festival of the Lost kills all joy in the event. I should NOT be able to get the same masks after opening multiple treasures. What pisses me off the most, is that the Skull and Firewolf masks are exclusive, and it doesn't matter if I open 1 or 25 treasures, if I don't get it now, I'll never get it. These are THE ONLY COSMETIC ITEMS IN THE GAME FROM EVERVERSE TO BE EXCLUSIVE [u]AND[/u] RANDOM CHANCE TO GET. Behind a paywall of all things. This isn't just a fix for Destiny 2, this needs to be fixed now.
I'm assuming that some masks and consumables will be swapped out of the Treasures of the Lost into Eva's inventory, and if not, then this event is even more rigged than I thought. Bungie, we would realistically pay more if we were guaranteed to get something new from each purchase, instead of gambling our money and getting what we already own

That's mainly why I made this post, because it breaks the system and can ruin the game. It doesn't make sense for this to be the only time RNG is mixed with money when it isn't year round, and even more so to have a exclusive mask when there aren't that many mask anyway nor any other exclusives from Eververse. Nothing about this event is fair or in line with how Destiny plays out all year long. SRL is a way better model for events involving Eververse and was more successful for it

Well even though I agree about the RNG. If you have known of it and if you lost to Bungie's slot machine that has worse odds then Vegas. That would be your own fault knowing this greedy company created it. That's only if you tried your luck.

Wtf!!! Bungie!! This guy is right I'm so pissed!!!!You really need to fix the drop rate for the firewolf mask! I get it's supposed to be rare and harder to get but I spent $70 and still Nothing!!!! Wtf!! And I know a lot of other people have done the same and some have even spent more that that! What makes it worse is there no other way of getting in game except by buying those dam boxs! Something needs to be done and soon sents this is a Limited event ether make it so there another Way get it or fix the drop to if you have all the items available form the box your chance of getting the firewolf mask go way up but $70 is ridiculous Bungie I want my firewolf mask.... you should just give to me for all the dam money I've already spent on these stupid mask I don't even want I only wanted the firewolf mask from the get go but I'm not spending any more money you need to fix this asap! please help thanks

Bump, I just want that sparrow. Even halo 5 uses a better system, it just takes for ever to get high tier stuff but you can also just play for it. At least sell the treasures for silver.

Even in Uncharted 4 by Naughty Dog they NEVER allow for duplicates. They have their micro transactions set up to where you will always get something you do not have, never getting dups. Its the company man. Sad Bungie doesn't remove the blinders Activision has placed over them. After watching Enraged Cinema spend $80 just to get the Fire Wolf Mask and TripleWreck spend $100 just to get it. There is no way in hell I am spending that much for the chance RNG to get that mask.

Any micro transactions in this game should have NEVER used RNG to determine paid loot boxes to begin with. It's basically gambling for rewards, many you don't want. If they absolutely insist on RNG for loot boxes, that's fine, but each time an item is obtained it should be removed from the loot pool until you finally have one item left and it's a guaranteed drop. At which point you should no longer be able to buy more.

Lol. Why would they do any of that?? The people complaining about it just keep spending and spending? Why on earth would they change a system that keeps making them money for no actual product given. You don't get what you want, you'll just spend more. The bad thing is they know that and they know you'll just keep throwing money at the screen in hopes of 'I'll get it this time!'
