I dont like that mission, it makes me sad. The Iron Lords were around since the beginning, even only in weapon flavour texts. It feels like you are fighting old friends...
Then again I also feel sorry for Aksis even though hes trying to kill me.

Aksis is a bunk bitch.
-
Why do you feel bad for him?
-
Edited by Greyfur: 10/27/2016 6:20:39 AMBecause hes just trying to help his people from suffering. I agree, using siva was propably a bad idea but still. The way Aksis tries to destroy himself (and us) at the end of the fight, its just so sad. He has already realized he cannot win and is now just putting up a desperate last stand... none of the other bosses were desperate... poor Aksis
-
Wow, your right, you should really write a lore post about this, that makes sense
-
Oh I hate that we're killing the Iron Lords. There must be a way to bring them back

So much estrogen

Edited by Noir Renard: 10/25/2016 5:59:23 PMYa that mission was cool though, really felt epic in the last part but I wanted to see alot more enemy's trying to stop you from getting out or running out themselves.
-
I think we should fight more "corrupted guardians" and "warlords"
-
+1 for good old Felwinter
-
Warlords were the risen, the first guardians and they don't exist no more
-
Wait warlords? Ive never heard of them.
-
These first guardians were also called the risen aswell
-
Oh cool. Where did you guys hear this? Was it in the grimoir or somewhere in game? I'm interested to find out more
-
I've only heard it through other people but I know it's pretty much confirmed, the only warlord thing I've actually seen in the grimoire was felwinters card
-
Ahh I see. I don't have that card. Or most of the grimoir XD
-
Basically when the traveler first started giving its light to people (which gave them powers and abilities) they used them for greed, they took over areas of land and were ruthless dicatators, eventually some turned good and became the iron lords, if you have felwinters artifact read the grimoire for it
-
Warlords were the risen, the first guardians and they don't exist anymore
Sorry but that was really bothering me
-
Edited by AbyssalVoice13: 10/25/2016 2:12:28 PMAs a whole I feel sorry for the fallen, they were once like us until the traveller fled. And now they are just trying to survive and prove to the traveller that they are worthy. They just want it back.

Edited by Bearded Scotsman: 10/25/2016 4:55:41 PMSee sometimes I get confused, supposedly the Great Machine is the traveller, but I recently seen a grimoire saying how they "wanted to get inside the earth servitor to repair the Great Machine" this threw me off a bit....will link grimoire if I find it EDIT: ok it's actually the weapon card for Barons Ambition "To crack open that depraved Earth-Servitor. To use its secrets to reclaim the Great Machine"
-
The reclaim yes, travler,
-
Crack open Rasputin and use its (warmind) secrets to reclaim the Traveler. The flavor text is on Barons2Ambition because it is what the Fallen were trying to do with saber 2. That giant shank was designed to dig through Rasputins data base and find a way to reclaim the Traveler but this failed. Variks refers to the Traveler as the great machine as well.
-
. The Earth-Servitor is Rasputin. Servitors are basically warminds or AI for war.

We aren't dead.
