Suggestion: use Spark of Light and VoG to remodel characters
I don't like how my character looks and I think I have a good solution.
A Spark of Light is a powerful consumable. It can level you from 1 to 25 (TTK) or 1 to 40 (RoI). The process is irreversible. What if presenting The Speaker with a Spark of Light started a quest line to remodel your character?
1. Present The Speaker with a Spark of Light
2. Visit the VoG and consume your Spark
3. Time rewinds to the character creation screen
4. Time replays, preserving your faction ranks and inventory
This would make The Speaker somewhat useful again, reuse existing maps, and add new value to a Spark of Light. As someone with 3 level 40 characters, my Spark takes up vault space, but this would let me use it.
If someone used their Spark already, or has many characters they'd like to remodel, a Spark can be purchased through the appropriate platform store. $30, on the PS store, seems a bit high for character remodeling, but I'm pointing out that most of the mechanics are already in place.
What do you think?
Edit:
What if Tess sold sparks for silver coins? To get the idea rolling I'll say 1000 silver ($10) for a spark of light. I agree with everyone that $30 from the ps store is too expensive.
