I had this issue for the past couple months which got progressively worse as time went on.
I would constantly get contacting destiny servers followed by error code baboon and/or weasel.
Turns out Comcast was using low quality splitters for the past few years leading to some packet loss. Symptoms include buffering livestreams, sudden stops in busy Twitch chats followed by chunks of chats coming at you all at once, leaving the PlayStation 4 Party due to networking issue, as well as Destiny connection issues.
If this is happening to you and you tried the steps in my post as well as Bungie's ever so helpful Network Troubleshooting Steps, it's time to call Comcast and get a new high quality splitter Comcast now recently uses or buy one yourself.

1 ReplyI haven't gotten baboon, just constant weasel and contacting Destiny servers. I just went out and removed the splitter altogether, since my modem is the only thing in use anyway. No deal, no change. Destiny still doesn't work for me. Battlefront and Borderlands were fine (I don't have a whole lot of MP games to try on XBone), though. My Xbone says all services are fine and my NAT is open.

1 ReplyBut haven't you heard, everyone that complains about the above "has perfect Internet!" And how dare you suggest otherwise!
