All of us have been to mars or the dreadnaught and faced off against the Cabal at least once. And if you've fought the Cabal, you've come across phalanx, those awful legionares handed massive shields. Now, those shields protect them from all damage short of pure space magic, and even sometimes pure space magic isn't enough. They stop hammers, golden gun, grenades, and high caliber armor piercing rounds cold. So my question is, why don't the Cabal make more things out of that grade of armor, or at least things like tanks, so that they're not brought down in a matter of seconds. I know that cost may be a reason, but I highly doubt it, as an empire like theirs would spare no expense in equipment, and shields of that spec are handed out like candy to disposable infantry. Another possibility is supply of material, but the grimoire says that they make their ships out of the same stuff, so they must have access to lots of it. The third possibility is weight, but we've all seen the size of some of the Cabal morphs, they can handle the extra weight. What are people's thoughts?
