A successful Defender can land a sticky consistently or has the foresight to throw a suppressor grenade to achieve their desired effect. Force barrier is strategic move, the ideal conditions can help you survive a couple people. Primary weapon skill supplements much of the deficiencies in the Defenders abilities, you can't be the type to crutch a tracking grenade to get your kills.
