Now don't get me wrong this weapon shreds through enemies but the nanites are a let down. In the ROI launch trailer it was shown the nanites would be like gally wolf pack. I think the nanites should live up to the launch trailer.

What are u talking about it is amazing not only in PVE but in PVP
-
The outbreak is perfect as is. Balanced in most over and pop and great for easing the struggle of the raids and carrying noobs through it.
-
The gun is fine the way it is. It's a Raid exotic, amazing in the Raid, alright everywhere else. The Vex is probably the one exception to that rule, but look at the others. Necrochasm was made for the Abyss, and have you ever used Touch of Malice outside Daughters or Oryx (before it got nerfed)?

Against the fallen and in the crucible, they are fine. But against anything that is not fallen they are really bad. By my tests, the nanites fallen damage multiplier is 4x. I think they should increase the damage by 34% and reduce the fallen damage multiplier to 3x. This wouldn't be anything huge, but it would be enough to kill tier 1 enemies from other factions, like vex goblins and hive acolytes, while keeping the same damage against fallen.

Thread seems to be missing the "Sent with Internet Explorer".

I would say just remove the cooldown
-
Honestly the weapon feels very balanced in pve and pvp. No buff needed
-
I just wish it made the nanites on each precision kill instead of a cooldown.
-
My only issue with the gun is that it seems as if the nanites don't proc as often as it should. I could be wrong though.

No - if they do this, then in a month or two they will nerf the gun into obscurity due to crybabies in this forum. Leave the gun as is, and hopefully not many people will use it in the crucible so it will slide under the nerf-bunny radar.
-
I second this thought! Biggie, PLEASE buff the OP!
-
They work great in raid Any grenade that comes out from their head gets taken out Really like Tom it is only best in the raid

Edited by Truthiness_Inc: 10/24/2016 5:24:29 PMYeah they don't even do as much as a bullet from the gun does. It's only good for sustained damage with the "the corruption spreads" perk. The "virulence" perk is pretty worthless. On another note it's pretty lulzy to have a fireteam making clouds of nanites on a enemy titan's bubble. Each player can make 3 clouds per clip so if you have 3 players that's 9 clouds of nanites in about 3 seconds. They also will track through the wall of the bubble if the enemy player leaves the bubble and get's targeted. They will follow through the wall but they will not start tracking through it.

Only in PvE. We don't need any more gimmicky DoT mechanics in PvP.
-
Go rewatch the trailer, they do the same amount of damage.
-
..... I don't get these posts.

I personally love the gun (and I'm a Hand Cannon Fanatic), and I think it's all just fine... I just don't want it buffed, then nerfed to worse than it started. So I say just leave it. It's great how it is.
-
The gun is from the raid, made primarily for killing fallen. That's the guns niche, and it does it very well. Just so happens you can use it for any enemies, just the nanites do less damage. To me that's perfectly fine and the gun does its job and more.

It's fine -
Buff them by 30-40% against minions of the darkness.
