Why I am level 24 with blue gear but do the same damage to level 2 dregs as I did in my first patrol with white gear???? Strategy for everything: ice breaker camping (might have been solely responsible for the regen nerf) Played sepiks strike underleveled for first strike. 1.5 hours later, so terrified I didn't do my second strike for 2 months Got back to back Ghorn drops on NF (got gud) and didn't know why everyone was excited Apparently everyone else was OG pushing Atheon while I spun in circles chasing dregs in patrol....

7 Replies-Weekly cap on Vanguard/Crucible marks. -XP buff from Nightfall strikes. -When everyone started losing their shit because matchmaking was introduced to Heroic strikes. -Selling materials at the Vanguard quartermaster for marks. -Queen's Wrath for the 15 minutes it existed. -Crota's crippling weakness to internet connections. -Wiping in the Nightfall meant you got kicked to orbit. -Only getting strange coins from the Nightfa- oh, that's still a thing.

I remember farming for mats just to level weapons and armor and you had 3 different armor mats one for each class.

I remember the salt when it was patched and all those max level people couldn't do Templar or Atheon legit, it was hilarious. And those same people had the nerve to ask for "level 30's only with ghorn" on lfg but literally couldn't hold relic to save their lives. Good, crazy times lol. Or the Xurners vs earners debates back then all over the forums. All the special Snowflakes were salty when xur sold their Op guns that they were lucky enough to get from Rng and they lost their snowflakiness . So they started the "you didn't earn that gun, you bought it with coins" nonsense to make themselves feel special again. All you heard back then was "I earned my gun, you didn't." I remember Deej himself getting in on it and saying something like "you earn your coins, so whatever you spend them on is also earned". Now the general consensus is "nothing is earned, it's all rng". It's been funny seeing this community change over the years.

The queens bounties in like week two or three, and my first piece of legendary armour: the queens Hunter helmet. Grinding crucible for crucible marks to buy the New Monarchy VANQUISHER VIII, which I still own to this day, good times =)
