2 Replieseveryone remembers the loot cave, but the real destiny OG's have used the last room before nexus boss to kill repeatedly vex then jumping off the cliff all for a tiny chance of a legendary engram , that was way before loot cave

Armor piercing rounds on snipers that let you shoot through anything. Bullets hitting where you aimed. Most people being green bar

I never actually did vog lol. Still haven't. But I miss the old nightfall, the cute little tower map bots, getting two shotted by vex, the og thorn bounty, idk it was all nice.

Rainbow omnigul was always great. And getting ghorn from gorgons chest on normal mode. Or accidentally 1 shotting with hawkmoon triple procs

1 ReplyEach faction having weapons, that are not on sale and can only be obtained from packages - Rocking crucible with a full auto Evergreen III (that got dismantled later on due to lack of vault space; damn, this sounds familiar, although we are in y3 now without legacy consoles...) - Reward packages for doing the first daily public event - Chasing public events for the rare chance to gain additional ascendent material - Exotic weapons being special and taking ages to level up - Original Field Scout - Hoarding faction packages at the post master and then opening them one after another to increase the drop chance for shaders and ships - Constantly getting ascendant material from legendary engrams - Getting Ice Breaker from a regular Omnigul strike (went to the postmaster, pleasant surprise upon return) - Running tiger strikes for Vanilla gear during HoW..... I could go on forever, we have come a long way, guardians ;-)

Exotic Bounties?[/quote] - I was the Titan Atheon Pusher to bring the Vex in for my friends that were unable to beat the sucker on hardmode - I was the first 30 in my clan...but the last who got the Vex even though I did all the "work". I even made 2 other Titans for this job. - I also was the one pushing the Templar off the map...no need for that OG platform anymore. - I think I got more blues out of legendaries than blues out of the game after Rahool got fixed. - At least, ascendant shards and energy were good in the early days until patch 1.0.2 arrived...still hated this Sucker Rahool. - The weapon eluded me until it was nerfed...thanks Bungle. My friends who got it through my effort were humilitaing people with it though. - The Suros was my first Exotic, bought it from Xûr in the second week (I was one of those "Who cares for an exotic Heavy?"-Idiots...luckily I got the allmighty Ghorn a few weeks later out of the Raid exotic chest). I still use the Suros in PvP on my Hunter and it still works for me. I really hope it gets some love with one of the next weapon changes... - The first I got was the Thorn-Bounty, even before the VoG was opened. I got destroyed in PvP all day everyday because Destiny was my first PvP console FPS and I was kind of thumbless against other players. I deleted the bounty...got it again about 1 month later and breezed through it with Praedyths Revenge, Atheons Epilogue and Corrective Measure. Y1 was one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had despite all the flaws the game threw at us. It was awesome.

When you had to get back to the tower to reclaim bounties. When VoG had a mystic and character to the raid. Being lvl 29 for an eternity before getting that last pice of gear. Glimmer farming on the first mission on Mars. When gjallarhorn, thunderlord and Vex was the ultimate status weapon. Material farming routes When blue engrams was actually rare and got happy every time you got one. Having to die the same time as you daily target so you would not lose your checkpoint on that mission. The cheese wars Blue flame when doing nightfall.

I got Vex a day after it got nerfed and I got the Suros two days after it got nerfed... >_> Atleast I was able to cheese with Thorn like a mofo for quite abit :D
