Ultimate raid team. 2 Titans 4 hunters.
The point of this post, is to make it known that warlocks need a TEAM ENHANCING buff. They, like hunters before tether (excluding dark below), offer nothing for raid groups. Bump if you promote warlocks contributing more to the team. My suggestion is a increase to team reload speed upon activating self res. Remember this is not to bash warlocks as all members serve a purpose and do well (storm caller at siege engine), I am simply suggesting that warlocks gain a an ability equal to bubbles or tethers. Viking funeral is not an equal.
THE BEST SUGGESTION YET IS THE ABILITY TO RES A FALLEN TEAMMATE IN LIEU OF SELF.

Try 6 warlocks with heart of praxic fire, fusion nades, touch of flame and viking funeral.

I'm always on teams with a good mix of classes: We beat Volsik in 3 DPS rounds We beat AKSIS in 3 DPS Rounds You dont need all those bubbles and tethers. Besides, I love using a WARLOCK THROUGH THE RAID! Stormtrancing all the adds and Captains in Volsik, SEIGE ENGINE, AKSIS. This Raid was made for a Stormcaller.

Nova bomb OHKs captains at Aksis, allowing teammate to focus elsewhere. Those are just some of the things that can be done, just in WotM. I think your post is misguided and your concept of "Team Enhancing" narrow minded.

1 ReplyBro, do you even warlock? ;) A Sunsinger has a buch of raid utility options. My favorite is fusion grenade with touch of flame and viking funeral. The damage buff stacks with tether and weapons of light.

Touch of flame with Viking funeral will give a damage buff to the team, so having one helps max out damage. I see the need for two titans so you can get weapons of light for the entire damage phase of aksis. Having a warlock that can hit aksis with Grenades during the first, then a tether in the second, and two tethers plus the warlock going ham with grenades. It's more like a 6 in one/half dozen in another argument though.

A lot of people don't know warlock are the only class with damage buff gernades that stacks three times. So while you're waiting for bubble or tether I'll be getting a damage buff from my gernades every 25 seconds with the cooldowns.

Have you ever dps'd with a Warlock running Starfire Protocol lol? Go find a taken zealot somewhere and DPS with res and fusion nades.

3 RepliesViking Funeral + sunbreakers. Or just viking funeral and activate your super to spam the grenades. If you have a smart team who uses Skorri or knows how to activate the platform to give everyone's supers back you should have a problem. I know this and i main a bloody titan.

2 RepliesI like your thinking fellow Hunter, but I don't see a point to having 4 hunters. You see, a team of 2 Hunters, 2 Titans, and 2 Warlocks is always the best way to go. Just look at the outbreak prime quest.

I love the SS for the raids for one reason only, it allows me to play more aggressively in hardmode.

Viking funeral with 2 grenades helps out my team for doing damage a ton of damage, that's one class with a general "team" buff, same as hunters. I don't see what the problem is

10 RepliesYet I only see hunters and titans dying in the raid. I don't rely on my super to keep me alive. I use it if I die, which I rarely do. I know how to evade enemies and use cover if I'm low on health. Titans will just randomly pop their bubble when they're in too deep and I don't even know what hunters do. Yes, there are self res warlocks that use it as a crutch, but they're using it wrong. Like I said, only use it if you have no way of staying alive, and use it to DPS bosses and pick up orbs afterwards.

3 RepliesMy favourite set up is 2 Titans, 2 hunters, 2 warlocks, no idiots. Two bubble Titans, weapons on Vosik, blessing on engine, weapons on Aksis. Pop them at the back at Vosik, at break points during engine, and one for cannon users farther back, one for sword users right beside him. Two nightstalkers (adds and damage), if your team is competent enough to slam the servitor platforms one gunslinger one nightstalker. One sunsinger w/ Viking funeral using song of flame at Aksis, self Rez every other encounter. Spamming Grenades when either a) they have no ammo b) in between cannon shots, sword swings, or after reloads. And one storm caller for adds.

1 ReplyYou all understand if you make Sunsinger a bit better in PvE, Nightstalker Tether wont be needed? As much as I think Warlok have a "weak" PvE, the fact they have a Mini Tether that every 25 seconds works long enough for the Team to do nearly double Damage. [spoiler]And lets not forget EasyModeRez[/spoiler]

1 ReplyFalse. 2 Titans, 2 nighthawk hunters, 1 warlock. The warlock running Viking funeral with double melee double solar grenade. One Titan on bubble. One Titan double melee melting point. THAT is the perfect raid team for this new raid.
