• So ignorant if you think that's what this is about.

 •
OP: GIVE ME PUBBIES TO STOMP.
Playing all skill levels of people in matches with fair/reasonable connections is hardly stomping. You could either play smarter/learn and perform better, or continue to play like it's your first day and get stomped. Or we can leave it the way it is and always have you play people who are equally as good or equally as shitty with 800ms latency on 3 different continents where your rng connection for that match determines the outcome.

 • How come I never see guys with a lousy KD carping about connection issues? I have a 0.72 KD, but had to play some Salvage to complete a quest. Check my last 7 games -- running around a 1.5. I'm not any better, but SBMM seemed to work for me. I was placed with a bunch of other scrubs and had a decent run. I think you leveled up and became the pubbie and found out it doesn't taste to good. Then, like most guys that link their ego to a KD, blamed the connection.

 • The average K/D in Destiny is .7 to .9. The reason why people with shitty kill to death ratios are not complaining about lag is because they have a greater access to a larger player pool than anyone over a 1.0 K/D. Not only do I get placed into matches against people who are around 2.0(which I am know where near as good), but I get to be consistently matched with only 8% of the population. How is it fair that most of the time, I join in "progress" matches were upwards of three people have quit, 40% of my matches feature laggy gameplay, while the rest of my matches, the game puts me against a pro fireteam. My crucible experience is horrible and I have entered rumble matches, ran around allowing people to kill me to drop my kill to death ratio, but it will not budge... When me and my cousin play on the same exact console, we change accounts, on the same connection mind you, the difference in quality matches is astounding. I am a competitive player, if I was to play all matches where I just stomped all over people, it will become very boring. Most of us experiencing the effects of skill-based matchmaking think the same, and we are some of the game's most devoted players... It has nothing to do with wanting to win all the time. So the question becomes, should my experience be diminished as to protect players like you from me? We both paid for the game, and we should have equal access to the same quality of experience. Perhaps it is you who wants to have a good time at the cost of others?

 • ^^This It's turned me off playing so much. I can only stomach a game or two before I have to stop through sheer frustration. Playing against equally skilled/better players doesn't bother me (I've actually improved with sbmm), but it's the connection quality of the majority of games. There's always someone on the other team who's invincible with red bar who always ends up on top. I can't play with crap like that.
Dude, comparing your last few games to someone who has an all-time stat like that is a joke (I'm hardly patting myself on the back because it's nothing impressive compared to even the 1.8+ skill group, let alone 2.0+). You have a character at 1.0 and the rest are below. Get yourself up to even a 1.2 and see how different things are.

 • Thank you, he doesn't understand that. I'd hate shooting someone, dying from them, then they die 5 seconds later.
