20 minutes? My man, no video guide on youtube should not be longer than 10 minutes. By the 11minute, you have already lost the viewer attention.

OP has got it👍 Ten minute would be a great benchmark for raid completion before attention span fizzles out. You could watch the whole vid while waiting for one of your team mates to return from a piss break.

The video is hardly "detailed". True Vanguard videos are detailed. Planet Destiny videos are detailed. Hell, even Datto videos are detailed. Your video was just spewing out things on the top of your head. Do as the other guys said and make concise, shorter, scripted videos.

You need to calm down. As a video producer on youtube, he is going to get some criticism. It will be like mine, which is pointing out how to improve his content or like peanut, which will just insult him. He needs to deal with it and move on.

Watched your video and found it more like a conversation then a "guide". Appreciate the effort. But long winded videos is going to lose viewers (like me). I literally skipped big chunks of your video as I found each section just lots and lots of talking with B Role footage. I was ready to turn off the guide after about 20 seconds honestly. Heck the only reason I kept watching after 20 seconds was to see this "detailed" guide and hopefully learn something. Sadly I did not...and my initial impressions were spot on. Quality and scripted lines. Be more professional.

Just because every other youtuber has other 10 minutes guides, doesn't mean it is right. Some videos can get away with that some of the time, but never all of the time. Anyways, it is your channel, so do what you want.

Nothing wrong with that. Just be remember, when people are watching your video or any video that possess a long playtime, there is a point where they will start tuning out from the video and move their attention elsewhere. My advice for really detailed guides like yours, is to simply split it up into parts. This serves several purposes. Firstly, this method creates short and easily digestible content. Secondly, this method creates encounter/boss specific content. Thirdly, promotes your channel more as there is more videos to look at. Again, you can what you want. This is just my few cents.

I was thinking about doing each boss seperate but when I've done that in the past people have just commented "why you splitting them up just to make more money" so I gave up on nt he idea too quickly

If you listened to every complaint on the internet you would end up a recluse in a tent in some remote forest eating pine cones. Fair play to you for making a video and trying to help the community. I've not watched it because when I eventually go into hard mode I don't want to contradict any methods my Fireteam already have because they generally get shit done but I'm sure it will be helpful to many guardians. A lot more helpful than the people requiring emblems and impossible light levels and third nipples to join a fireteam where wipes are always someone else's fault.

Yeah . I can see that, but splitting videos up is a more effective way to distribute information than one really long video. I suggest that you make the long version as default but offer a split version also in the description box.

Mate...I wonder with all your 5 cents worth of opinions..do you even have your own you tube channel..how do you know people don't enjoy long videos...if it's going to be titled as detail then I would as a viewer expect it to be long.
