rifled barrel and rangefinder are great perks on a fusion rifle. Range is good because it does something different from other weapon types: projectile speed. more range gives your bolts more speed, (possibly in addition to max damage range and accuracy) thus you can hit further targets.
so yeah I would say that is a good roll.
enhanced battery isn't bad,, but personally would rather use rifled barrel.

fusion boy here, rifled helps to a certain point, but there is a distance where you bolt spread has to be tight enough to hit a target further than lower stability will allow.

while I agree to an extent, that distance is further lengthened by the fact that Range also increases bolt speed. so the shots go further before spreading out.
