Is that Bungie official art? They probably changed it up a bit after this drawing was made.

It was in GameInformer. Right next to art for ToO gear which is the exact same as in-game. I feel like I have a right to feel screwed when this armor was something I was excited for and what we get is a steaming pile of Hive ash.
-
You can feel screwed if you'd like. They probably changed it up due to texture issues or something.
-
Yeah, the textures on the unused ones probably looked complete.
-
If they did I'd assume they would be in the game. Then again whatever is posted in a magazine isn't the final product.
-
My gripe here is that everything else displayed in the magazine is in the game. Here's how I imagine the armor came to be: "Can you pass the SIVA Warlock armor design off to Chad for finalization?" "But Chad hates Warlocks, sir." "Exactly, my good chap."
-
Well the Titan class item is slightly different too. It doesn't have those individual strands in the front part. I can see the original design being a nightmare in the actual game lol.
-
See, I can understand that being changed (so much clipping would happen with those strands. My god). But those robes would have been the greatest raid robes ever. Instead we get Chad's design. Terrible trade-off.
