Aksis is vulnerable from the time the final siva bomb hits him until he teleports back to mid! Don't wait, shoot!

I have seen a lot of people saying they don't have time to fire off all of the cannon shots, but i think a lot of these people don't properly understand some important things. 1) Aksis is vulnerable from the time the final siva bomb hits him until he teleports back to mid. Don't wait, shoot! * If youre using dark drinker or any sword for DPS, you don't have to wait until aksis is stunned to start doing damage. You can hit him literally as soon as he teleports. * If its the third phase, and he teleports, get that tether on the boss as soon as the teleport is done, you shouldn't wait for the boss to be stunned before tethering. * If youre a weapons titan, don't wait for the stun to pop your bubble, pop it as the boss is teleporting (assuming youre saving weapons bubble for the third phase), so people can get their weapons of light and be ready! If youre using bastion, you can pop it in the middle of the second DPS phase as the bubble will last 45 seconds. * If youre a cannon user and already have gotten your weapons/tether is up, shoot that -blam!-er! Don't wait for the stun! Cannons do the same damage with body shots and headshots, so there's no need at all to wait for the stun! 2) You don't need to charge the scorch cannon until it explodes automatically. Its fully charged after about 1.5 seconds (the ball gets a bit brighter). Scorch cannons in wrath of the machine only have 2 states : charged and uncharged. There is no "partially charged" like prison of elders scorch cannons. * As soon as the cannon is charged, let go of the charge! If youre waiting for it to automatically explode, youre wasting a ton of time! * You can begin charging a cannon before entering a weapons bubble and explode it after (if your titan is slow...) to still get full damage. 3) Other tips for DPS: * Reminder : dark drinker applies the best DPS against aksis other than cannons as proven by datto's videos. If you have one, try it (use the R2 attack repeatedly with the upgrade that increases damage of the R2 attack)! * Glasshouse is very very convenient exotic to have equipped on your titan, especially for people doing DPS with dark drinker or other swords. This means that if the bubble isnt right next to aksis's feet (which is often the case so that people with snipers can also do good DPS), dark drinker users will likely maintain weapons for the entire damage phase without needing to returning to the bubble. Glasshouse extends the duration of weapons of light buff by 5 additional seconds after leaving the bubble for the whole fireteam. * Melting point is a significant buff to DPS. If you have multiple titans, consider having one of them go sunbreaker and apply melting point during the phases you are not using tethers (if any),. Melting point is a 50% damage buff. Melting point stacks with weapons of light but not tether (tether overwrites it). Titans using melting point should use a double melee exotic (ex: insurmountable skullfort) so they can apply melting point during multiple damage phases. Dark drinker is a great choice for a melting point titan because they will be at the bosses' feet already to apply sword damage. * An alternative if youre using 2 defender titans is to have one pop weapons on first teleport and the second one pop weapons on third teleport or middle of second teleport.
