This game needs a remaster. I'd love if they brought this back.
Willing to bet some of you don't even know what this is
I remember screwing about on the intro and had no idea what a max height jump would trigger. Almost shit myself 😂

Bro, some OG shit right here.
inb4 Pong comment
Do you remember Ecco the Dolphin? Pepperidge Farms remembers

Played as a kid on my Sega Genesis (1st console!) and didn't understand a thing. Replayed last year on PS3 collection, pretty much the same, lol. Just kidding, made some progress, very interesting and ahead of it's time, I've watched a speedrun.
-
I remember playing it on I think ps2. There was one level where you had to go into this pitch black underwater cave and kill a great white shark. I was a kid so this creeped the hell outta me.
-
-blam!- that game. Drove me crazy when I had that for the megadrive. Hard as -blam!-.
-
Dat Sega Genesis doe...
-
Hated that game
-
Never knew what I was doing, it was fun every now and then swimming around and jumping out of the water.
-
It was remade for dreamcast then ported over to ps2. Thanks for reminding me of part of my childhood.
-
The good ol days....
-
If so they need to implement the one and only YSG in it. The legend..
-
Omg yesss! Do you rember they even made an Ecco Jr. That was easier and you could play as a orca too i think
-
This game was great. A remaster would be sweet!
-
I've got the Dreamcast game, couldn't even beat the first level as a kid. I should hook up that console again and try to redeem myself
-
Yes yes yes yes yes yes! I had this on a SEGA Game Gear way back when.
-
Holy Blowhole Batman
-
Yeeeeahhhhhhh
-
Holy throwback batman!
-
The dream cast game was bullshit hard but for its time it was great, why sega hasn't brought this out of the vault I haven't the foggiest. Def one of my favorite franchises.
-
There's a Sega collection CD for ps3 with like 30 games on it. Ecco is on there, and it's just as difficult and horrible as I remember it.
-
Ah, back when "saving" meant writing down a code in the back of the manual.
-
I had a Sega Mega Drive collection on the PsP, and Ecco and its games were a part of this collection. Music was creepy AF tbh.
