Last night, I raided with a bunch of 360s...

So last night, I (lvl 383) did WoTM with a group of 360s, ranging from 362 to 368, and the run was god awful. They all said that they were "experience " and "know what to do" but we wiped on each section at least 4 times. the damage was piss poor and everyone was dying very quickly. Aksis phases was just balls. captains one-shotting people. no one knew what the balls that the servitors dropped was for, despite you know they supposedly beat the raid before. Phase 2 was just a nightmare. Extremely low damage, siva swarms killing everyone in 3 seconds. i think after 8 tries we finally got it down. it took us 6 hours to do a raid that everyone supposedly knew. ON THE OTHER HAND, the raid i did this morning, with a bunch of 380s, three people completely new to the raid, beat the raid in 1 hours and a half. Alot of people think that asking for 380s+ people means other people is looking for a "carry." I can carry people regardless of their damage, but i won't carry a bunch of lying 360s scrubs who doesn't have the decency to be honest with me and waste SIX HOURS of my time.

  • In that same note I will say that my buddy and I both 380+ wanted to help our friend who is 367 complete the raid. He kept making it to the end, but his busy work schedule was golding him back. We search ed for randoms, but a lot of people won't do a raid with someone who is below 375, and that is fine, play how you want. So, we asked for people who were 365 or higher, with a note thay said noobs welcome, we are happy to teach. So we got three guys who were in the high 360s. And the raid went... Great. Took a couple hours to clear because we were teaching all the mechanics, and showing these guys where clusters were, doing monitors, etc. But everything went just smooth, they listened and appreciated a group that was willing to help strangers. Look, play how you want to play. I will never knock someone for that. Its your fireteam, and I can see why you feel more confident running with 380's. I just wanted to share this, to let people know that a solid team that communicates can beat the raid with no issues. And even 6 385s can -blam!- the whole thing up if they don't. I know I was fortunate to find three solid players that listen, and communicate, but hey sometimes taking a chance can pay off.
