This method is good if you aren't swimming in 3oC. And bungie isn't looking to fix 3oC, Luke Smith stated they knew full well how they'd be used

They knew people were going to find a way to exploit it but, that doesn't mean they are ok with it. That's why they patched draksis and also nerfed the chances of getting exotics if used in rapid succession.

I know. Luke said right in the article they knew people would abuse it but not the extent to which it was. Thus the draksis patch

And thats exactly my point. They wouldn't have to patch Draksis if they didn't leave 3oCs to RNG. Bungie is relying on RNG too much if you ask me. The way 3oCs works now(thanks to RNG)do not reflect at all the description on how they are suppose to work.
