So this weekend my clan tried to complete the raid. Since we all work Monday through Friday, some even weekends its hard to get the group together and do it. We decided to split into 2 groups and try it that way. My group spent 7 hours trying to complete the raid with 80% of the time on the final boss. This was also with awful frame rate drops, mis-adventures like dying when the game wasn't even started or things like that. The other group decided they would employee some help from LFG, they found a couple players and progressed nicely throughout the raid, getting the monitors and getting to the final boss. This is where everything goes to shit. My group called it quits due to the server issues and just plain out being done with trying to complete it, even though we really wanted the exotic quest. The second group didn't have that choice. They got to the final boss and the team lead was kicked to orbit with an error code making the LFG player team lead. Well when he tried to rejoin, another so called random member joined, then another member was kicked. I think you get the IDEA here. The LFG player hijacked the game and booted everyone else and invited his buddies to get the quest and finish the raid. This my friends is a total DB move period regardless of how good you think you are or bad you think the others are. They reported the player but now, if they or my other group wants to get the quest line the raid needs to be done from the beginning. Why not fix the problem, make it so that the monitors are attached to the players progressing and completing the sections. ONLY THE PLAYER, not the check point. This makes it so that any player that wants to boot or hijack a raid cannot pass along the benefits of having previously collected the monitors to their friends. AND it also allows players to complete the raid if time becomes an issue or the servers (like yesterday) get so bad we just have to call it quits. Its not fair to players who only have a limited amount of time to have to keep redoing the entire raid due to DB players or technical issues. Hopefully you guys look into this since as of today NONE of my clan members will not be doing the raid with randoms or using LFG because of what happened.
