FOR GODS SAKE... In year one and year two, once you finished the main storyline Greens never dropped and you have an abundance of blues! Why we're greens added when they are useless in Rise Of Iron! INCREASE THE BLUE DROP RATE AGAIN! Up vote to let Bungie know we want the programs back to normal!
EDIT: With the shortage of blues and so many greens, just like that I'm in a famine. The large amount of blues at the end of year two made my inventory skyrocket in supplies.

2 RepliesNo. Just no. Green crap dropping like rain is a GOOD thing. 1. Picking them up gives you planetary mats if you equip the correct ghost shell. This is a great source of mats for upgrades, but more importantly for faction rankup packages. Dead Orbit spinmetal rep farm this week. 2. Weapon and armor parts from dismantling them. Again this is useful for upgrading gear and also for turning in for rep. Parts don't cycle weekly on the factions, always there for rep increase. 3. Glimmer from dismantling greens is useful because now both weapon and armor parts are available to buy from gunsmith for glimmer. See above for how this is a good thing. 4. Greens do NOT replace blues or purples. They are in addition to them, and were intended to drop all along but were glitched out of existence before being patched. Bungie made this quite clear at ROI launch. If you are having trouble keeping up with all the greens mixing into your loot on your character and clogging up your postmaster, I suggest emptying your postmaster and bringing only a couple items in each gear slot before going farming, Forging, raiding, etc. Regularly take a minute to dismantle greens and deposit engrams into your vault using companion app. Very highly recommend the app. Will ease a lot of headaches and can actually store loot on other characters as well as your vault.

2 RepliesWhy should they there a good source of free weapon parts and armor mats
-
Honestly, I feel like they *just* need to add an option to set any items under a certain quality to auto dismantle to weapon parts/armor materials. *-Knowing nothing about how much work this would be, i use the word "Just" loosely.
-
They're basically free weapon parts and armor materials, without them we would have to buy them.
-
You can make I rain spinmetal with a ghost shell.
-
I'm thankful for all the greens. Because of them I don't have to farm for upgrade mats or glimmer anymore. However an auto scrap feature would be nice

2 RepliesIf you were following the Destiny community a little more closely and did perhaps any research at all, you would know that Bungie stated no other engram rarity flavors drop rate's were decreased in exchange for the greens. All engram drop rates are exactly the same as they were before year 3. Greens were merely added in addition to the others. This also provides more materials than ever before due to having an entire new pool of loot to draw from. So you're incorrect on every account here actually.
-
Or like I saw someone say somewhere, that there should be an artifact that auto dismantles greens
-
I loathe the fact that green class items get sent to the vault, takes up precious space when grinding strikes/archons forge

2 RepliesEdited by Demon King Lamb: 10/16/2016 9:17:16 PMI wish they didn't add them back in. It just dilutes the loot pool. Which is why i have been getting less legendary engrams. I even avoid picking them up like a plagued rat. I have no need. Blue engrams give me more than enough materials. Edit: Forgot to mention. I've been hearing people have been having problems with greens showing up in the postmaster. Knocking out their legendary or exotic engrams.
-
As long as blues dropped in their place, I would be ok with it... But when greens stopped dropping before they fixed it, I was having the spend glimmer to keep up with my habits...
-
Green engrams + a ghost that gives you planetary materials for picking up engrams= 200+ planetary materials
-
Or just dismantle them before continuing

I feel like they brought them back to replace the blue engram drop so we wouldn't grind them out and level up our cryptarch
-
Granted they are not really needed by most people but if you have a glimmer shortage at least you don't need to buy weapon and armor parts. Minor nuisance/high class problem I think.
-
3 RepliesPeople complain about not having weapons parts and armor parts....bungie tries to accommodate through rewards and people still complain
-
1 ReplyMuted. Idiot.
-
I thought the reason for the green engrams dropping was because when you dismantle them you don't waste glimmer at the gunsmith buying weapon/armour parts.
-
2 RepliesNo, for materials
-
Signed. No more greens. Don't need weapon parts, armor bits, planet mats, a clogged postmaster, clogged inventory, clogged vault (Tower Ghost app + farm mode)... If blues didn't have the rare chance to drop exotics, I'd like to to see those gone as well. Wasn't it Diablo or something that allowed a player to hide loot drops of a specific rarity?
-
Nah fam. I want the extra weapon parts
-
1 ReplyHow about just remove green class items from clogging up your postmaster and increase the space? If you've done Archon Forge for a while you know what I mean.
-
Yea so i think this petition went nowhere your way...
-
I like them. I have gotten way more weapon and armor parts.
-
Really? I think at this point a Green engram for me is more rare then a rare, legendary, or exotic engram. I cry out of joy every time I get my hands on one.
